"If you keep track of the pieces as you take it apart slowly, the puzzle becomes much easier... So let's take it apart as quickly as possible." That got me pretty good. I know you dismantled it quickly so the solution wouldn't become obvious, but the sudden turnabout was really funny.

Something interesting to note is the fact that there are multiple species of wood going on, different grain patterns and direction, the mere fact that this sphere stays together and works without worrying about expansion is a testament to the wood worker who built it. It's pretty amazing actually. (provided it actually is real wood)

The last time I solved a puzzle without remembering the steps it was the Hanayama vortex and I spent a ridiculous amount of time to put it back together. Since then, I'm really careful about what I'm doing. Thank you for the great video Fleb, seing the last piece coming back in place is extremely satisfying!

The Vortex is a tricky puzzle! If it's a packing or disassembly puzzle, I'll usually take a picture of a puzzle before I pull it apart.... just in case! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! It was tough to get the last piece in there, but it eventually happened! Also, you've commented on a ton of videos! I think I always see you comment. You kinda breezed through it (like a champ :P), but I think the dexterity challenge at the end was super interesting. The puzzle and video plod along coasting on move-order and critical path, until bam! - simultaneity, compartmentalization etc! Even the pacing of the video changed. I know they're simple enough conceptually that most people internalize shift, but I love seeing the algorithmic paradigm and puzzle difficulty shift so fluidly. Especially with literally no mechanical change in the puzzle itself. Beautiful elegant puzzle. Keep 'em coming Fleeb!

Do not worry, you pronounced osm kinda fine, I understood you:-) it sounds kinda like word "possum" but without the p and not that open O :-) My parents (60+ yo) grew up on "Rychlé šípy" (fast arrows) who were imaginary 5 boys like "good boys" or "scouts" living in the Prague and they came across a bad group in the dark parts of the old prague who held the puzzle called "The hedgehog" (I talked about it under your previous videos) and whoever was skillfull enough to took the hedgehog out of its cage could keep the secret blueprint for a flying bycicle that was hidden inside. The stories were written like a comix and there were more puzzles like "nosy" (noses-a tiny papers with clues) that were thrown above the Prague and kids were collecting and trading them and trying to solve the full note where the hidden treasure was. So for our older generation they grew up on mysteries, puzzles and hidden secrets around our amazin old city.

To do the first part, simply THROW THE BALL HARD TO THE FLOOR. You have completed the first part of the puzzle. Congratulations! You're welcome!

Last time I solved a puzzle was when I had to put 6 colored wood blocks together in a weird shape. First 5 are easy the last one iratates me because you try to lodge it in, but the puzzle is fragile and falls apart easily so it takes forever.
