When the morning comes
Puts the night on the run
It's nonstop, baby
'Cause we've only, we've only
Begun to love, begun to love, baby, baby

You know what, I've heard this song so many times and never paid that much attention. Those instruments speed up on the down slope. That was awesome! I don't think no band can do that now these days!

It should've went #1.
Man, the instruments on this slow joint are so righteously far out. No wonder DAT machines didn't exist during the 70's.
The ojays are true to music world wide
Catch my FEELINGS...loneliness has it's just rights to feel alone...but for lovers out there...God bless your love...💖💔💖💔💖.....

Listening to this you can tell Rick James (RIP) was an Eddie Levert fan like none other, lol! Owes most of his Stone City Band-era slow jams to his vocal influence especially.

This came out before Rick James tho song is early 70’s Rick James came during the 80’s

@@teddygolden6463 Actually, Rick came during the late-60s when he was a member of Motown's first official rock band called the Mynah Birds (look 'em up). He didn't really get noticed until he returned to Motown with his Stone City Band in the late-70s, by then his voice no longer tried to ape Mick Jagger and the Eddie Levert influence is much more prominent. 😎
This was the jam 1975 I graduated from High school. Love the O' Jays. The instrumental are off the chain. Those orchestra were awesome.❤
Who could not like this?

I've opened at a stand up comic for this group a few times and out of all the old school R&B groups I've opened for, they are the best !!! and when they sang this, I even got "moist"!😄😁😃😀
