On the evening of Friday, May 10, 2024, I got a chance to see the Northern Lights (aka Aurora Borealis) for the first time. I hadn't heard until shortly before the event that it was going to be possibly happening. As a result, I only got pictures with my cell phone. While they weren't as bright from my back yard since I live in town, they were quite a sight to see. This was my brother's first time seeing them as well, and he sent me some of his pictures from north of town where they were brighter. A friend of mine from work who is into astronomy also sent me a couple pictures that he took south of town.
