I've ridden these trails on both skates and a bike and it's a great time. Dustin is killing it on these trails. However, Dustin is also really silly for not wearing helmet. I don't know what the fixation is with not wearing one, but shit can go wrong with even the best riders on these trails and suddenly you have a tree or boulder being smashed into your head and face.

hulkydulk I don't like to harp on this, but you won't see a single person not wearing a helmet on these downhill trails. Although, it's a killer video, it sends the wrong message from a skate company to its end user.

+Inline Downhill Vancouver we agree on your point at wearing a helmet, for sure. however every person decides for themselfes... so if dustin decides to do that, its nothing we would do or recommend, but the video still was so good from what he did, that we did not want to keep it back. DISCLAIMER: The usage of protection gear (especially helmets) while skating is strongly recommended by Powerslide, although each person is personally responsible for himself and his actions. :-)

it's not breakneck speed when you take banked turns/berms but you're hardly/not leaning into it 😂 skilled MTB riders will go literally "flat out" through these turns. of course it's not comparable with 29x2.5 grippy downhill tubeless tires vs 6x1 wheels, but the consequences if you crash are real..

Zuy Jojoboy An actual argument! Good. He's not fake skating with a sock around his dick - or skull, if you will - he's actually skating with real consequences; poor analogy. I actually don't care if he takes on the risk of a smashed face and traumatically injured brain. I do care that he's clueless to the atmosphere of safety that everyone who rides on the north shore has built for decades and for which keeps the young riders safe, following the lead of the adults. A brain injury wouldn't just impact him, it would impact the north shore trails that have been fought for for decades and have just been recognized by the city relatively recently. It could also negatively impact inline downhill on the north shore. Actions of a few can impact an entire scene, which is why it's illegal to rider down certain streets in the District of North Vancouver.

dustin uses wicked bearings. a little dirt won´t kill good bearings, and with removable sheets cleaning them is really easy and effective. no need to buy new ones after every dirt day =)

Kanga Duck You underestimate the lack of critical thinking skills that kids have. We know that, we were once clueless kids. Parents aren't everywhere all of the time, nor do kids listen to authority all of the time. It has an impact, as would an injury on the north shore to the DH scene in this case.

you can select different wheels sizes depending of how messy is the place you will skate. Bigger wheels here will go almost anywhere but will be a bit harder to control. Pascal Briand

no, these won´t fit. the air tires are wider than the skating standard 24mm wheel thickness, so they need a special, wider frame design.

How did I not know about this? I grew up doing inline.

Where is this place? I really want to go there😍😭 is this place far to the downtown?

I'm an old aggressive skater and interested in getting a 3 wheeler set of skates for just training and freestyle skating, as well and hitting a dirt trail now and then. what other models would be suitable for trails, with the idea that most of the time I'd be on pavement?

that is a tough question. for basic pavement /urban / freestyle skating , especially with an aggro background we recommend our urban skates like the Imperial skates or the Metropolis skates, best with 3x110mm setup. but with those, you won´t have much fun in the dirt tracks... maybe only on really dry and hard surfaces.

+Sergio Gugliandolo On very hardpacked surfaces, yes, but not more rough and variable surfaces, or ones that are too soft or have too much gravel. Guys run 90mm on well maintained dirt jumps and pump tracks. You can't run the offroad wheels on a regular 125mm frame if that's what you're asking.

there is a suv frame set which does come with ufs mount, so it can fit ufs boots like your usd seven skates.
