- KINGSLEY NORTH -
Kingsley North is a lapidary store in Michigan's U.P. They make a great cab machine and sell many other brands too. They have a huge selection rough rock, tumblers, grit, jewelry supplies etc. at good prices. I buy most of my coarse grit from here in 45 lb. bags. It's the best price I have found. If you buy using the following link, I make a small commission.

- THE ROCK SHED -
I buy a lot of lapidary supplies from The Rock Shed. I don't make money from your purchases there, but they have good prices and good service. This is where I buy my finer grits and polish.

As a rock nerd turned wire wrapper to buy more rocks, I've learned (almost!) everything I know by watching other people. A big "Thanks!" to Rob for sharing his cab making skills. And a big "Thanks!" to Emily for sharing her wire wrapping techniques! I do a lot of the intricate weaves but I haven't attached them to a frame. Actually , I've only used a frame like you are using a couple of times. I'm going to make something today with the inspiration you gave me. Thank you again Emily and Rob! Last year I bought my daughter a rock tumbler for Christmas and I had NO CLUE as to what I was getting into. I thought she would love turning rough material into beautiful polished stones. I had no idea what to do, so I turned to KZread. I came across This channel and became quite intrigued with not only rock tumbling, but also watching Rob traverse all sorts of terrain to find all sorts of agates, stones, and more. Watching your videos inspired me to follow this hobby and I purchased a few tumblers that you use. After Emily and I were dating for a while I pulled up some of your videos and subtly mentioned that it would be insane if you two could do a collab. I’m so happy that it happened and that it’s on KZread! With Rob!! Great job on the stone Rob and great job Emily on another beautiful wrap. Im proud of both of you! GREAT JOB YOU TWO!!

Such incredible artistry! I enjoy the collaboration with others. It keeps the channel even more interesting though I must admit Rob rockhounding on the beach is my favorite.

I am friends with a couple who work together to make jewelry. One of them prefers the stone work and the other likes making the cabs into jewelry. They really compliment each other well.

Thank you so much! I had such a fun time doing this project with Rob! My smallest gauge wire is 30 gauge. It took me a few years to learn to work with it without it breaking!
