Thank you for the tutorial. You are a master at the art of weaving. Thanks for showing me how to add a faceted stone to the bail. I have not found a way to simply add a stone before, so thank you for this excellent tutorial. I am working on it right now! I love the way you finished the back!
Tha audra tutorial can you use a round cab instead of faceted? The small one i mean

Liver of Sulfur. Stinky stuff, but it works!

Thanks, Stan! I use a liver of sulfur gel solution to darken my pieces. Here's a video I uploaded last week showing you how to do that at home: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKykmMSfkcWoo8Y.htmlsi=4iF3Fm7unAe8CCt1. Hope that helps!
I have made this!! Your tutelage is wonderful! BTW how should wire be held as not to have the warmth of your hands distort your work?? I seem to have a death grip... I am trying to use my fingers only my hands... Blah!

Thanks!! Hmm... I think having clamps really helped me with that. Also, just being very conscious of what I'm doing and reminding myself to relax... lol. I hope that makes sense?
I love your videos, and I've learned so much from you! My question is, when you sell a pendant, do you offer a chain or a chord with the pendant? Do you have any advice?
@ellieshandcrafted

I usually offer a nickel-free, copper finished chain with my pieces. Occasionally I exchange for cords, if requested. (I get them from GemPlus24 on Etsy). I just make sure to factor that cost into the piece. If they want a solid copper chain, I usually charge extra for them. Hope that helps!

@@dawncatinella9781 Sure thing!!
Do you keep your weaving wire on the spool?
@ellieshandcrafted
Ай бұрын
Generally, yes. I have a ribbon dispenser that I use to hold my wire, so I just pull it from there :)
Ok, So I have a question? How much of the stone should the woven wires cover?
@ellieshandcrafted
17 күн бұрын
I would say, just enough to hold the stone in place. Maybe an 1/8 of an inch or so? Hope that answers your question. ☺️
