The No.1 Kit Lens? FUJIFILM 18-55mm f/2.8-4 (In-Depth Review)

This is a detailed review of the FUJINON XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS Lens. Some people call it "The Best Kit Lens in The World".
We'll cover 12 important aspects, from build quality to image quality tests. By the end of this review, you'll know everything this Fujinon 18-55mm has to offer.
Camera Used for the image quality tests: Fujifilm X-H1 with all in-camera image corrections turned off (where it was possible). It was set at 24Mpx.
The Distortion and Vignetting tests, from minute 5 55 to 6 05 are just representations from what I saw on the internet, regarding the actual Distortion and Vignetting, without in-camera corrections.

What is your opinion about the Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4? Is it the best kit lens?

Pretty sure this is going to be my main travel lens. Ill also be taking the 35mm f2 and Viltrox 56 1.7. all small light weight lenses. I use it on my XS20. Love that camera.

I feel heavy inspiration from another youtuber ^^ Well done, but if I may, you really need to improve the sharpness chart

Yes, I admitted in the comments on some previous videos that I got my inspiration from Christopher Frost. However, I leave my own mark by giving structure and always covering those 12 aspects. Regarding the sharpness chart, I worked on it for two days straight. I did the best I could, arranging the lines, the photos, and so on. I don't know yet how I can make it better, but in my opinion, it is decent.

@@apertureatlas No problem everybody takes inspiration somewhere to start, your work is good 👍 As for the chart, it seems the resolution is too low we don't see the differences, you need a bigger panel and find the appropriate print size and shooting distance. Also you could remove those magnets, they're distracting. Btw I personnaly think the chart of C. Frost is a little too simple and could offer a bit more information like a sagittal meridional patterns mid frame for example.

Thank you for the good suggestions! It is an A3-sized print, and the magnets keep it attached without any lumps. The quality of the print is good; they had excellent equipment. A bigger print and some good glue might do the trick. I'll think about it. Thanks again! I appreciate it!
