Not gonna lie, I'd definitely buy and play Oneironaut if it came out as a Bloodborne-inspired indie game. Or, finger's crossed, FromSoft took interest and brought the creator on board to make it Bloodborne 2. There's just something so vastly interesting about combining Industrial Revolutionary settings, Steampunk, and Lovecraftian inspirations. Kyrious, God from the Machine, sems the most interesting because it sounds like humans attempted to make their own Great One instead of attempting further evolution.

I general whales are a perfect concept for Blood Borne. Swimming in the deepest depths, they hide within them the knowledge of the deep sea, which once sheltered and nurtured the great ones. What dark secrets might the dark abyss hide, only by transcribing the songs of the whales can we begin to know.

Considering we've seen the moon presence who is both a moon and a great one, perhaps creating the hunter's dream isnt all that the great ones are capable of doing. It may not understand why the change of tides are at all important, the same way we don't understand how the hunter's dream pleases it. But the song of these kin-great ones, these great creatures in touch with the depths of the ocean, are "beautiful" to the awaiting great ones, pleased by their performances and at the call of their kin are convinced to change the tides for them. And isn't it so much like humans to take advantage of this, to record these performances to change the oceans to our pleasures.

Definitely something that could turn out amazing if the developers go the Assassin's Creed route and start doing more culture-themed installments. Like, if Sekiro had Far-East Asia as its inspiration, and Bloodborne was a Lovecraftian take on Victorian England, they could do some sort of Aztec-themed game. Plot could be, an old cult of worshippers of the old Aztec pantheon could be trying to blood-sacrifice the entire country in order to bring about a new era. To stay true to the bleak themes of Soulsborne, no matter what path you take, the ending you get will never be a happy one.

God from the Machine, and the fusion of insight, blood, science, and industry into a new kind of eldritch horror that mixes the lovecraftian dread of sea and tide with the grime and horror of industry and the very real and all the more horrifying for it levels of unethical science enacted during that time period. Why are those on a pram?" and then it hit me. The Doll probably used pieces of Gehrman's wheelchair to hastily construct it or maybe repair it. So much detail in one drawing.

Small detail I adore: Those pillars in the background of the Nightmare Settlement are (in my opinion) the same ones you see in the distance in the dream, and given how they’re jutting up from the ground, the Hunters Dream is placed above the Nightmare Settlement, connecting them, like how the Hunters Nightmare and Fishing Hamlet are connected. An amazing touch.
