I thought the same like open the gates of hell. Hate to put it that way but under the circumstances, whatever his theme for PR of the show the moral and humane thing to do was demand control, stop the music and speak to the crowd and tell them let emergency crews get room to assist. Something better than nothing and damn sure not “I want to make the ground shake”. What if those were Kylie and Travis kids? But hey he made sure his girlfriend, her unborn child and their daughter were able to breathe and lived to see another day. I can’t imagine and I am so very sorry for the people who lives were lost, the families, the injured and real human beings who had the guts and empathy and good common sense to do the right thing💗💗💗🙌🏽💗💗💗

The people who broke into the venue are obviously stupid and made a bad decision. Travis is also stupid for making the bad decision to tell them to do it. I've been to crazy fucking metal concerts, ones where I literally thought I might actually die, but time and time again, when people went down, we picked them up. It's basic. I didn't see that happening here. This obviously wasn't one person's fault. But people should be held responsible. I also think young people, need to be taught how to act at festivals and in pits. I guess it's not obvious to everyone...

From the girl who went to the stage try to stop the concert, she reposting another person post on IG saying over 18 deaths recorded overall. This girl has trusted information about all people who lost their lives including their name, school, has contact with their families. The stories from some of the survivors are beyond heartbreaking. The kid who was trying to get through to the cameraman, said that when he was trapped under the stampede, he just accepted that he was going to die. Another woman said that she was begging for help, but people only cared about getting closer to Travis. She actually had shoe prints on her face, from people just walking over her. Another person said that when they realized Travis wasn’t stopping the show, they thought they were going to die because people just kept pushing forward. I get why so many people are angry at Scott, & rightfully so, but the mob mentality is truly terrifying. Fans get so caught up in the nonsense, that they completely ignore people begging for their lives. They were stepping on people, just to get close to their fav celeb. That’s beyond terrifying.

I have PTSD from my experience at my first concert. I had my glasses pushed off, I couldn't see. Me and my friends were all separated in the crowd. One of my friends got kicked out and I was asking why, and so the crowd started hitting me, pulling my hair and it was so packed there wasn't anywhere I could get away. 0:39 This was 100% exactly what I experienced at a Metallica concert back in 2001 for Ozz Fest. My friend and I were like 19 at the time and we eventually pushed our way to the stage prior to the main acts coming on. I was in the best health of my life at that time and I was only able to stay in that situation for 30-45 minutes before I was about to pass out. I couldn't breathe and couldn't push anyone away from me in order to get more room. Fortunately some random stranger saw it in my eyes that I wasn't doing so good and asked me if I wanted out. I nodded my head and he lifted me up and I crowd surfed out of the mass of people and into an area where I was able to freely walk and breathe again. I have goosebumps remembering this story because I honestly feel like if he didn't do that for me I could've easily died at that show. Mind you the show was in San Francisco and it was a very brisk night (probably 40 degrees) but when you have that many people pressed up against you and everyone is breathing the same air it felt like it was 120 degrees and I was at the point where I was overheating. I can only imagine what it would've felt like for those kids at the Astroworld show if the temperature was much higher.

Great video. The problem is, this is not a conspiracy, but the truth is, when people serve satan and make a deal with him, they have to make blood sacrifices. Any practicing or former witch will tell you this. Satan promises wealth and fame as long as you loan him your soul. He cannot own your soul, yet. And as long as the contract is renewed, human blood sacrifices are required. Scott knew exactly what he was doing and did it on purpose. No doubt. It was he and his family die or someone else. This is what happens with serving the devil. The Bible, Gods word, it truth. It says the devil comes only to kill, to steal and to destroy. He hates you. And all who serve him are headed for much worse than the chaos of this ritual sacrificial concert. Jesus loves you and offers eternal, perfect and beautiful life through His sacrifice on the cross. You don’t need to bleed! You don’t need to sacrifice yourself or your family. God made a way for you! Come out from serving satan. Repent of sin and turn to God through His Son Jesus today! Be born again! Stop giving your enemy, the enemy of your soul, place in your life! Turn to Christ! Find a Bible and start reading in John chapter 1. It explains so much! Trust in Jesus! He is Lord!

Exactly. Fun is fun, but when fun becomes dangerous, you stop that shit. I'm 16 and I've figured that out since 11. I go to parties frequently, and no matter what I know, I have a phone and Narcan on me. I'm CPR, Heimlich, AED, Tourniquet and Epi-Pen certified. I do go to parties with alcohol and drugs involved. I don't participate. I usually go with my brothers, one 17 the other almost 19. They both watch over me, and I'm their designated driver and safety person. When anything goes wrong, cut the music, mute the TV, shut the hell up, and make way for emergency personnel.

The thing is that, with this new rage wave, rappers are promoting moshing, breaking into shows and general anarchy but just as a facade. They're just copying the punk/metal aesthetic in order to look cool, but the fans are young and don't understand that you still have to obey the law and be a decent human being even if your favorite rapper calls for a moshpit. Travis could have learned from past performers and took some precautions, but instead he saw this as just another check. For fuck's sake, when the whole festival if labeled as YOUR festival you can change a thing or two. The least you can do is stop the show. In my opinion, 1 person's life > 49.999 people's enjoyment and entertainment.

ive been in many situations where i went to a concert and i was packed into a tight crowd and felt super claustrophobic; generally what i did in those situation was i would just crowdsurf out of them. *very helpful advice:* if you're in a situation where you're heat exhausted inside a tight crowd the fastest way out of all that mess is just to try to get yourself onto someone's shoulders; generally 7 times out of 10 when you do this the concertgoers will pass you forward and let you crowdsurf to the barricade. however and unfortunately crowdsurfing is a little harder to do at rap shows than a metal show. ive went to many shows of both genres and at rap shows i've generally been dropped the most when i tried to do this (not _every time_ but it was a little more common). so i guess these people didn't really have much a chance at making it out in the end if nobody was helping them at all.

@BRARBATOS I agree but this will never end as long as people keep worshiping idols . That’s the root of the problem . If these young kids looked within and realized how powerful their own influence is , they wouldn’t have to look up too a bad role model or take on his personality to feel like their having a good time…. No one should have to pay money to worship their idol in person (that is what a “concert” really is ) . And then end up dead in the process . A lot of people might not end up dead at every concert but people who really idolize these artists suffer other issues like depression and mental health problems because of your at the point where your paying hundreds of dollars to worship a artist in person you don’t believe you have equal or greater talents . Most concerts with large crowds like Travis had , are artists that spread negative energy and negative messages . I could image if Traviss songs were about Love and unity rather than being reckless, killing , and raging…. The outcome of that night would have been much different .

I’ll never forget I was in silver springs md with my brother and his then gf to see Travis for his Rodeo tour. November 2015. It was just like what ppl talked about at Astroworld. A giant wall of flesh moving you around like a riptide current. It was very scary. At some point my brother got separated from us and we were all freaking out. Somehow the gf was able to get in Travis’ ear after she was helped over the barrier and he stopped the show entirely to call out his name and make sure he was found. So I’ll always thank him for that. But how he’s handled this whole thing has been fucking horrible it’s like he’s no longer in touch with the world.

Its crazy ive been to alot of metal shows, not festivals mind you, but the community there seems so much more aware. I was around 11 at my first show and the drummer tossed out his stick at the end of their set and it clocked me dead in the face. The guy came down and found me himself to apologize and gave me a copy of their EP. A much smaller scale event obviously but that level of caring about what happens at your shows is admirable. Travis wasnt able to handle the situation and regardless of him hyping up fans, its the fans and management to blame at the end of the day.

I was there, from my point of view I had no idea anything like that was going on around me, I was in the middle of the packed crowd and all those stories about it being like the ocean are true there was no arm space and at a lot of points I felt like my arm was gonna break since I had it in between the people in front of me. My brother even told me to wrap my arms around my body so I wouldn’t break my arm, I remember advising this kid that looked around 17 who was trying to protect his girlfriend to make a stiff barrier with his arms around her and I can see the fear in both their eyes. My brother and I also saw a 12 year old boy probably around 4 feet tall in the crowd. At some point I saw two Muslim girls having panic attacks and being hesitant of being crowd surfed out of the crowd because that was the only way to get at the front. But they gave in and we carried them out, they were dropped so many times because no one could move their arms. Many times I had to pull on people’s shirts including my brother when I saw them falling over and I asked a dozen people if they were ok because they looked drowsy. At some point we got pushed so far that we ran into my friend who was at front center, mind we were in the middle left of the stage so we met in the middle, he said in his area it was much worse. Something told me I had to get out before Travis came on so him and I told my brother we were leaving and he said he was gonna stay so we told him to be careful and we rushed out. It was impossible to get out with the amount of people being packed around us, but for some reason I started screaming that my friend was gonna throw up and people opened up a path and we got the an area where there was still people but we had space to breathe, I saw a guy holding a girl who was crying and I asked him and her if they needed help getting out and the girl crying said yes so I helped the guy pick her up over the crowd and she got crowd surfed out to the back with the guy following behind her, so I decided to followed them until we all got to safety. At the back I was telling people how good they had because at the front it was a chaos so I stayed under a tree for the rest of the concert. I do recall while we were waiting for Travis to come out, as we were chatting it up with the people around us a guy mentioning how with the eerie transe music they had playing and the red mountain it felt like a nightmare, little did I know he was right. I feel for the families who lost their loved ones that night, none of us had any idea that was gonna happen. Rest In Peace to those fans who just went to have a good time and got their lives stolen from them. And to the white kids who told the Muslim girl who was yelling at the crowd to stop pushing, “to shut the fuck up” FUCK YOU
