Are these a space marine legion or the Emperor's own genetically engineered monsters in (super)human form? The Crimson Walkers are similarly named to induce fear though of course not nearly as refined as the Night Lords. Since they were a seemingly motley group who weren't all psykers, I'm curious what identified and unified those Walkers. Becoming sluggishly doped-up isn't the effect upon the Resurgence I'd expected from a cloud of terror and an artificial night perpetuated by the VIIIth Legion, but that's definitely efficient. Rather than causing the resisting humans to either turn stark raving mad or simply be knocked unconscious for slaughtering in their sleep, which would be extremely disappointing to these psychotic Astartes. The Night Lords' broadcasting of a set of victims' own death cries and screams of fear back at them is the next level...haunting. I'd known of the, er, fallen Terran city of Vhnori before this telling but its tragedy is even more disturbing by including the details of these space marines' M.O. - despite the city rebelling against the Imperium. It sounds like those 'Bone Drinkers' were in need of a wiping out, so, that more or less objectively positive result was inevitably in the midst of all this outright eager terrorism. Uh...'Kurze' led the Night Lords' elites on a mission to...destroy a farmer god? By...burning it all down, like crops? Along with your cogent observation, Narrator: the VIIIth being censured for their obliteration of a Slaaneshi cult, true enemies who'd deserved such treatment. PLUS, obviously Terentius' gold-dipped skull with its note to Terra - oh, the grimdark ironies... Just WHAT was the God-Emperor thinking or intended by actually recruiting these sadistic maniacs of Nostramo? As a legion, they seem to have already become outright evil, if not before even meeting the Emperor then long before the Heresy came about. As coverage of these masters of dread within all of Mankind, this has been disturbingly informative. I think the stock the Night Lords were derived from should've been exterminatus'd down in their deep dark, if not just left alone on that planet. This nevertheless remains of morbid interest, so thank you for more 40k tales of terror, GDN. Have an awesome day, I'll look forward to more of the Night Lords as well as whichever legion comes next. The Emperor protects.

He didn't recruit from Nostramo. It was a rogue captain named Gendor Skraivok that poisoned the legion by inducting pure gutter scum into astartes and also shortened their mental conditioning which made them even more erratic and willful. Curze wasn't around at this time to stop it, and if he did, he wouldn't know when to stop.
Thank you for paying due respect to my legion!

The Night Lords are the most misunderstood legion ever. *The Emperor Protects, ROAD TO 50K* Also, could you do a video on when the nightlords were attacked by the carcaradons aka the space sharks?

Putting the Salamanders and the Nightlords in the same solar system, let alone battlefield, was an act of stupidity and madness beyond mortal comprehension.
