I was there too that night sir - it was one of the gigs I was determined to get front and centre for! I did join in the conga line eventually, not at first though because I didn't want to give up my prime spot. I never thought I'd get the chance to see NFO live so I was over the moon when they appeared on the band list that year.

It's so wonderful how versatile these guys are... Personally big fan of Bjorn's career, David Andersson was a perfect fit for Soilwork after Peter Wichers parted ways. NFO bringing up Sharlee D'Angelo from Arch Enemy makes it an interesting event seeing them play this kind of nostalgic tunes... ELO must have influenced all of them as well as ABBA for obvious reasons
I ran from slayer to see them, just to dance West Ruth Ave!

OMG, thank you so much for that upload!!! I remember leaving Slayer early just to see those guys. And it was worth it! I never thought I'd be in a conga train on a Metal festival LOL PS: I hope you post Myrath's video as well. That was one of the best concerts from last year. :)
With so many incredible songs, it must have been difficult to choose a setlist. But the combo "Gemini" / "Something Mysterious" / "Paralyzed" was amazing!

Had the pleasure of seeing NFO for the first time earlier this month at Bloodstock and was absolutely blown away. As a fan of the project since the release of Skyline Whispers in 2015, it's amazing just how much passion and energy translates to a live setting. I got into the band, and Bjorn's other side projects, through Soilwork as I'm sure many of us did, but I am confident in saying that I now vastly prefer Night Flight Orchestra to the last two Soilwork albums if I'm completely honest. Seeing him on stage with these guys in person, and recounting the events in the video, it seems like this is what he wants to do and where he wants to be. I wouldn't be sad if Soilwork ended tomorrow because of how amazing this band is.

Love this band. But seriously the Wacken crowds always are lame. Bloodbath's great 2005 Wacken performance, which was seriously heavy, also saw few people even getting into it. Why even go to a heavy rock/metal festival if you are not going to cut loose? TNFO \m/
