The Night Canelo RUINED An Incredible Career

Спорт

Canelo vs Plant is tonight!
And what better way for Boxing fans to prepare, than to look back at one of the most dominant displays of Saul Alvarez’ illustrious career.
Here we take a look back to a night where two of the sports heaviest hitters met head on.. And a night where Canelo, on the comeback from his only loss, needed a destructive victory more than ever before.

Honestly, the mayweather fight made canelo the fighter he is now. Patience, work, and determination. Canelo was young af when he fought floyd jr., floyd was just as impatient when he was that age, but they both learned how to win matches and beat opponents based on their opponents' weaknesses. I'd pay hella money to be able to see a prime floyd jr vs a prime alvarez fight.

Yea does does a great job of making nothing look like something. They actually made a video about Kirkland? It’s probably his easiest opponent since losing to Floyd 8 years ago. They say Cotto was the top guy at middle weight when they fought, which we all know is absolutely bullshit. GGG was the fighter everyone was avoiding including Canelo, that’s why he threw the belt in the trash right after he won it and was forced to fight GGG.

Canelo's simply 100% unvulnerably self-assured. You can see this when he does his eye stares. Other fighters got their childhood traumas whatever whatever fears that leak their confidence out complenely when the moment comes. And the red haired guy is simply perfect in this stance. You might outbox him with your skills, but you're sure asf wouldn't be able to defeat him mentally.

Like where Canelo was talking him up - it seems like _that_ would be more beneficial in boxing - instead of where sometimes, they'll put their opponent down and say they're not a challenge and everything. Seems like you'd want the world to think your opponent is like the best and then when you beat them, you're even better... And it is sad to see a story like this - where he's cut down just before he gets to the top and then can never get back to that level. I guess that happens to a lot of people in sports and even other careers. I guess the consolation prize is, that's a lot further than the rest of us could ever dream of making it in anything...

And him losing to Floyd, took away his cockiness and taking boxing more serious in order to make history in boxing.
