Much like raddaddy said, this was a song he wrote for his wife and although the music video gave it a different perspective with her walking out and leaving, the lyrics tell a little different story of him pretty much telling his wife that even when they fight and what not, he's still in love with her and they'll be okay. You mention you and your wife talking things through after a disagreement and were wondering if nate would mention something along those lines and he sorta does when he says that going to therapy is something that's worth trying because his wife has been there for him when he's been his worst version of himself and she's stuck it out with him knowing that if she invests time into him, he'll get better. What I love about this album is the fact that every song (for the most part) shows growth and change on his search to finding hope. And along that journey, he vows to become a better person for his wife since she's given him and invested in him: Time. Not to make it too much longer 🤣 the video plays in reverse but if they just give things time to talk things through and fix their issues, the video could actually look more like its going forward. They can get back to their roots of what made them love each other and want to live together. Just takes time and effort.

Yes, this is about Nate's and Bridgette's relationship. The video concept was actually Bridgette's idea. Going on 9 years of marriage to my beautiful wife and 16 years together. There will always be good and bad times in your relationship. You just need to handle the bad times correctly and pray for more good times than bad. This song is one of Nate's best. So detailed and the singing is phenomenal. Beat on point. Keep them coming. 🤍🖤

I love that the video is in rewind, makes you remember why your with someone in the first place but this is about Nate and his wife, we can all relate to what he’s saying, we’ve all been there for sure! The video is really clever and the concept came from his wife for the video! This song is so great live🙌Thanks for another thoughtful breakdown👍
