Please make a law that would prohibit ex or serving SC Judges to make public appearances. Since with people like Katju expressing themselves, people will lose faith in the Indian Judiciary.

Law is equal for all and should serve equal justice to all. Whether justice given in favor or against to Sanjay Dutt, ground should be decided because it will impact to all those people who are serving the sentence for lesser severe crime in jail. Still not clear ... Why 2 AK56 for self protection?

Unfortunately justice Katju is comparing Nanavati case which was a crime of passion with Sanjay Dutt case which is a crime of terrorism. Even if he says he was not involved in the bombing, having automatic AK-47 riffles, pistols and ammo at a time of rioting does not make sense at all. To be pardoned, where is the qualification for deserving it? Did he do any social work, or help the education? He was busy making money. Pardon?

dr swamy : pardon if there is public welfare only or mostly.. humanatarian pardon only if serious health issue. jusitce katju : pardon possible even if there is no public welfare. humanatarian pardon not only limited to serious health issue but for other issues of suffering . do we accept the justice version or dr ss version of interpretation of the grounds on which pardon is granted ?
