Thibbs need to implement the centers into his offense. Instead of just picks, rebounds, lobs call plays for them once they reach the foul line.

Yes, and shore up the bench. Guys like Edey, Da'ron Holmes, and /or Antonio Reeves come to mind.

Not true at all. Geez man, have you actually LISTENED to the PLAYERS on the team? You've got to be kidding me at this point. Randle gets chop-blocked and lands on his arm/shoulder, Mitch is always injured for one reason or another. Anunoby had an issue with his elbow and then strains his hamstring extending for the ball on a fast break, Bogie had Butum land on his ankle, Hart hurts a core muscle or whatever where someone hits him, and Brunson broke his hand swiping for a ball on a defensive play. STOP CAPPIN' out here. Thibs barely runs them through full team drills. They SHOULD be working on their damn free throws.

@@sergiomendez1597 Julius fell 5 feet onto his shoulder. A player fell onto Bogdanovic’s ankle while he had his toe planted on the floor. Mitch has NEVER averaged over 32 minutes a game in a season, he is ALWAYS injured. Brunson fractured his hand by hitting Halliburton’s knee with it. OG is the ONLY injury that can POSSIBLY be attributed to wear. But he, like Mitch has been injury prone for his entire career. What are you talking about? Do you not understand the difference between impact/contact injuries and injuries that come from wear and tear? YOU go back to school. My clarity is crystal.

I'm 66 years old, and this team is up there with the 90's Knicks. We would have been champs if not for MJ.

Odd/semi misleading title choice, as it’s the media who’s pushing the narrative for the Knicks. And really only certain people. I agree with your take though. Run it back with this squad. Maybe add Bridges, but not if we have to give up Randle, Robinson, or Deuce

I agree. This was just year 1...way too soon to make major moves. You need another year..not to mention be healthy..to see what you have. i dont think they truly know. Save the picks, try and draft well (Tyler Smith or another athletic big) and make a move or two for solid role players that can shoot and defend. Sign OG and I Hart, maybe move Robinson or Bogdanovic or burks if there something to be gained, otherwise leave it alone barring a true dream scenario which does not exist this summer. Focus on potential free agents next year.

Idt that we should get rid of Randle unless an offer presents it self. But that also doesn’t mean we complete run it back. For example bulls will(hopefully for their sake) be selling, which means guys like Levine, Vuc, and the guy that Knicks should try to get, Caruso should be available. Getting a guy like Caruso would fit the team perfect and give Brunson a backup point

Going to have to overpay OG and iHart, you just have to, when Knicks were totally healthy they were dominating, they went something like 12-1, I dont want to trade Mitch like some are saying.

I would do the Durant trade in a NY minute. 27 ppg for a man who is soon going to be 36 years of age. This would make up for the loss of Randle and the fact that although we can probably resign O.G. (hopefully for no more than 28 mil per), Durant would make-up for the loss of Randle and the fact that O.G. cannot keep himself healthy.

Did you also see Brunson get screwed at team 1 bc of course he did

It makes sense to think Randle might be traded. He's a 2 time All NBA player whose team appears to be better when he doesn't play. Knicks fans are stuck on a run of games in January, the rest of the league is more impressed with the team they saw in the playoffs, when the games matter. Randle is due an extension that the Knicks should not pay him. One would think other teams in the league would pounce on the situation. Fear not, Randle isn't going anywhere because nobody wants Randle. Literally nobody. I'd think maybe a bad team would want Randle to help them not be so bad, but it appears even teams like the Pistons or the Wizards dont' want Randle. As long as he takes 18 shots per game and converts them at an inefficient clip, turns the ball over a ton, and plays poor defense, you don't have to worry about another team trying to take him away.

A healthy Knicks team would have given the Celtics fits if they had made it to the ECF!

The Knicks are the most incompetent team in the league. We had a fair chance we just made stupid decisions. No one mentions that the same guy that Leon passed on was the same guy that eliminated us in the playoffs. And he added to it by trading Obi there as well. Great decisions LEON!! And we still don't have a Superstar!!

It's not stupidity when a 7ft 76er intentionally injuries people with no reprecussion yet when Michael Portor's brother bets on teams Adam Silver bans because Portor's brother didn't give Silver a peice of the action like Silver doesn't have enough money as it is he has to sate his own ego by putting himself on camera at games and making billions from the expense of others.

You never know. They may win and break the team up or lose and break it up somewhat. They can’t pay everyone on that team. After this year money matters.
