THE NEW WAY TO APPLY MASCARA!!!!

This video shows a brand new way to apply mascara without using a mascara wand! Every lash is separated and no clumps. Its amazing!
It works amazingly well for HD tv, as it does on men.
The secret is that it separates the lashes without clumping them - making every lash look amazing. I love it :)
You can get mascara combs from most companies and before this video i thin people used them mostly to "de-clump" the lashes after mascara. Sadly it never really worked that well, if at all.
This way you are applying it directly to the mascara comb creating a whole new way to apply mascara.
Please be careful. You are doing near your eyes with a metal/plasic comb. Please don't rush.
YOU CAN CURL YOUR LASHES AFTER YOU'VE APPLIED MASCARA THIS WAY. You are applying very little mascara with this technique - your lashes won't break and will stay curled all day :)

This is by far one of (if not THE) best make up channels on KZread. He is so clever and interesting to watch and he actually knows exactly what he's talking about. He has all these great tips that no one else has and he's always so eager and excited to share them. I never would have thought about this but it makes perfect sense when you think about it. I'm definitely going to have to buy one of these combs and try it out. Thank you so much:)

Plastic combs will work just as well. I have tried this and it is amazing, No more clumpy lashes and it can be applied as many times as you would like. :)
When mascara was sold in cake form in the early 20th century, this is basically how you would apply it. If it was a pressed powder, you would get the brush wet and apply like a normal mascara. If it was a cream, you would dip the brush in, probably warm it up on your hand or something, and apply like normal. I think it could also double as an eyeliner and eyebrow powder (at least in the case of pressed powder). I know Besame still sells mascara like this today.

That's really interesting, thanks! It makes sense that it would be used for eyebrows as well because it was fashionable in the 20s (and I think the 30s, too) to have thin black eyebrows drawn in, regardless of haircolor!

Just tried this. I don't have a metal comb, the plastic comb worked fine. Great results. This is wonderful. It's so much easier to get uniform results this way. Thanks for the tip.
I have been using these small mascara combs since the late 80's and I love them. If you put them through the lashes before they dry after applying mascara they work wonders but I will have to try it your way as well. Love all the fun you bring to facial illusions!

When I first watched this I thought no way this would ever work on my lashes. I usually curl my eyelashes first and apply mascara and they usually end up straight. I tried your technique and it worked wonderfully!!!! Surprisingly I was able to keep the curl and no clumping. You always give great tips and information, plus your videos are short, direct and to the point without all the other nonsense so prevalent on other makeup videos. You are the real deal!!!!
I love this tip. Occasionally I like the velvety look of my natural lashes and feel like I have ruined the look of a natural face with my regular mascara tech.
i honestly like this idea more than i do putting the brush applicator to my eyes. i'm really new to the whole makeup thing. i usually don't wear it as i just don't either have time or just completely forget to put it on. especially mascara. the brush just always makes me so nervous.
I love waking up on weekends and watching your videos. You have a way of bringing out a natural beauty that just makes you want to smile and let it cary you through the day. To be honest i just wanted to say thank you. :)
Another hack I've found is using your lash comb for tightlining. You take the comb and put your liner, Kajal whatever and then press it between the lashes and it fills in the gaps in three repeat steps. This way there's no need to stretch your lid and struggle unnecessarily to tightline. It works just as well and instantly makes you look like you have fuller lashes.

literally the most amazing trick ever, i have pin straight eye lashes and this curls them beautifully without even using an eyelash curler. they look so natural too. im officially obsessed thank you so so so much

Hi! I've never written a review before, but it was lucky enough to happen upon you n I am HOOKED! You are of course handsome n fabulous at what u do n how u do it, but your gift is u must be the sweetest man, somewhat humble, so approachable, not a bit full of yourself(although u have every right to be). You are so very CHARMING, your wink does inspire the exact feeling you got when they winked at you! I also am a firm believer in being nice (I try ! ) and instilled that first n foremost in my children n my favorite moment ,which almost made me cry, was when u said your sweet Mom told you it didn't matter in life what you chose to become, just be a NICE whatever , that that was the most important thing. How right she was, n what a fantastic job she did, God Bless Her! So, Goss, or may I call you Wayne? Just know you not only have skills galore in what u do, but the best part is the great feeling u never fail to instill in us, your fans. I'm 53, not to sound conceited, but many take me for 35...why? Because a smile that comes from the heart n sincerely liking people n caring is worth more than the best applied, most expensive make-up...although it absolutely doesn't hurt! So please never leave us! you SHINE! Love u, Janice
The best mascara tip I ever got was over 20 years ago but I still use it now and it is the best trick for the tiny lashes and lengthening the corners. And it is... an eyeliner brush! Just pick up a bit of your mascara on the tip of your eyeliner brush and draw it along the lash. It sounds stupid at first but since you are only working on the lashes you normally miss, it is really quite quick, definitely faster than trying to sort out smudges and clumps. Once you try it, you'll wonder why you haven't been doing it for ages.

Wow, this is amazing! I never liked mascara because it always clumps, but this is just great!
I love how you always get to the point...your advice is EVERYTHING 💙
This works like a charm! It's a waste of time to watch any other makeup artist videos, you're hands down the most talented and the best.
Oh joy of joys.....a technique to make lashes look great. I have such short, clumpy lashes and even with the most expensive mascara, they NEVER look long or very noticeable. I bet they will do now, though. Thank you. 👍😄
I used to only wear mascara and lipstick I didnt know anything about makeup , but for the last two months i have been watching you're videos on youtube and buying most of the products you recommend , I have improved so much , THANK YOU SOOO MUCH GOSS
WOW! This makes total sence! Perfect way to keep your lashes curled, by using a small amout of mascara it not only give you a way to curl you're lashes after applying mascars, but it also keeps that curl without weighing your lases down which a lot of mascars do. Its BRILLIANT!!! Thank You

Wayne you're the best!!!! This IS the BEST Makeup Tutorial Channel on KZread EVER. Sending Love and Light to you and your awesome Mother. As well as your partner. Keep shining!!!!
First of all, just wanted to say, I love you. I learn a lot from you. However, I'd like to say this. There is no way that women and girls can get clumpy lashes anymore when mascara tubes are so dry and have next to nothing in them anymore. I can put on five coats of mascara and it looks like I didn't even do anything, and the brush is so dry, there's no way there can be clumps, but I do agree with the comb. I used to love my comb when I used to use mascara about 10 ago. Back in the 70's, I think it was Max Factor made a mascara that had a little comb and that's how you applied the mascara. Was my favorite, favorite brand and line. Sadly, they discontinued it, but I kept the little comb to use with other mascaras that I used afterwards, until it broke. Then when QVC started with Bare Essentials in the late 80's, I got a little metal comb with a kit, and I used it a lot. I need to find it for my daughter who has started to use the terrible crap that they call mascara now.
@ProudKansan08
10 жыл бұрын
Yes. The tube is dry as a the desert. And we spend around anywhere from $4-10 for the tube. I buy them new and when my daughter or I use them, the tubes are like really old tubes when the mascara finally runs out and when we pump the brush up and down, same thing, dry brush, dry mascara. Shame, really.
@popkerrn
10 жыл бұрын
When you pump the mascara, you are adding air. This dries out the mascara super fast. Also, what brand are you using? If it is dry immediately after you open it for the first time, then it is time to give up that brand. I may be misunderstanding, but are you sharing mascara also? If so, please consider buying your own. Mascara should be replaced around every 3 months for hygiene concerns alone, but if 2 people are using it, then it is being opened twice as much, getting twice the air, being pumped to let in twice as much air...

Try Guerlain mascara (the one in the GOLD case). It is expensive - but WOW - no dryness with this one....and super long lashes. I've got LOADS of mascaras but this one is the best I have found in years (in the new stuff around). I do agree, loads of it IS rubbish. Do try this Guerlain one....and be amazed!, as I was.

Thank you so much! No more clumpy eye lashes for this girl c: honestly my lashes have been looking like spider legs recently, but after this trick they look perfect. Thank you much!
My eyelashes are naturally long and curled up and this technique is great for making my lashes separate for no clumps! Great tip!

wow this is absolutely brilliant.
You are a genius
I found your channel about 2 months ago and have been loving your recent self and content, so I figured i would go back to the old ones.. i love your videos. You have taught me so much more than a lot of my favorite "influencers"
I have been applying this way since seeing your video! The difference is great, long, SEPARATED lashes! :) after a few coats using this method, I go back with the wand once more to get a nice thick coat on there. Closest I've ever gotten to looking falsy, without the hassle of putting falsies on. Thanks!!
You deserve it. Well done from a fellow Brit. Your a lovely fella, well your a fellow Piscean too so of course you are 😘
I have sorry thin lashes, can not curl because lid get pinched in the curler, can not use false lashes because I suck at putting them on and they never line up right and corners always come up, so I give up and throw them away. My problem is I've never been a girly girl and was never taught or experimented with make up, but now that I'm older I want to look pretty sometimes. I like your videos because you address everyone not just a certain type, thanks 😊😊

You could try a heated eyelash curler. It's like an eyelash comb which is heated by battery, so no torture chamber contraption to pinch your eye! I don't think that they can get very hot, but buy one made by a reputable company. They're not as cheap as eyelash curlers, but they're not hugely expensive.

Wow awesome :) love this trick :D thks
This is the very first video I've seen of you. I immediately subscribed. I just want to tell you that I adore you and I really appreciate what you're doing. You are a darling thank you.
Wow! This worked great! I had a comb but didn't use it much. I have asian lashes which as you know are very short and straight. When I tried this technique today, it really separated and curled my lashes! It's still holding too! Thanks Goss for your advice!
This is brilliant. I am totally crap with makeup & inevitably look like a drag queen (not in a good way). It's not the clumping but the obviousness of it all. I would like people not to notice that I am wearing makeup but think that I look rather nice for a change. This tip is brilliant as even I could do it & did not end up looking like I should spend the night in police lock-up. Thank you so much!
