Gotta be honest, and I hope you consider this feedback - please do away with the mic. I believe it actually takes away from the authenticity of the scenes. There’s something to be said for the way the audio was before where it actually caught more of your surroundings, added texture and context to the scene (birds, car passing, boat engine starting, ocean in the background, whatever it may be). This makes it sound like a podcast. Sounds like you’re in a vacuum or little 10x10 room. 🤙

If he didn’t ever say anything about the Mic nobody would say anything about the Mic. It’s either he holds a mic or there’s a mic on the camera. Either way there’s gonna be a mic. no hate for trying to make your stuff sound a little more professional in my opinion, which means nothing😂

Quiksilver has become a sellout company and that aint core. Nate and Koa has talked alot about that in their podcast so prolly why Koa left. Money aint everything

Agreed.. Getting Big Boi Strength Cartel vibes from the photo shoot, and the clothing.... Hope Darc changes their designs, especially for this upcoming Hawaiian line.... No need to pose looking like tough guys, to promote surf culture/clothing. Hoping for the best.

100%, to give up riding for one of the most iconic brands in all of surfing, corporate or not. At least with Quiksilver we knew what the brand was all about. So what is this a surf brand or an MMA brand? Sure, RVCA managed to be successful at both, but they came onto the scene with an incredible group of artist backing them.

@@slynn5138 Quiksilver dumped him and most of their surfers. He didn't choose to leave. Guy's gotta make a living somehow. Give the brand a chance. All the big labels are turning to custard now anyway. Hard to make a living as a pro surfer in the current climate. Sponsorship dollars are scarce.

I can’t honestly say what this company is about but I certainly don’t see what a wolf has to do with surfing. i think the new brand is sick.. In this vid when i saw koa shaking hands with all the macho men in the crew I realized hes probably still the gnarliest one, because of his big wave surfing. They same to respect men that are badass and grind. I can get behind that.

I said it when you were in Tahiti the whole upside-down thing with stranger things being a partner with Quick pissed me off. As a lifer growing up in Hawaii pretty much built the surf industry clothing in the bodyboarding industry as we were the fashionistas. I welcome you new sponsor I even told quick to get into the ski industry back in the day. So is the Wolves clothing connected to your new sponsor or is that connected to the other black shorts group lol. Well your growing and you need to also create your own sponsor to sponsor other surfers that will come. I remember when Sunny wife used to run the Hui shop store. Koa stay true to your own, love it and Happy Birthday to your bro the other day.

Darc Sport is legit, they have some dope clothes. We need to start supporting smaller businesses.

Just heard about the sad passing of waterman, Tamayo Perry, on the news channels KHON and KITV. Koa, I have long heard of this man. And, I have always revered lifeguards. Lifeguards are especially heroic in Hawai'i. I am very sorry for Hawaii's loss. I am very sorry for the loss of a man who meant a lot to a lot of people, too. 😢
