So nice to see the lovely baby elephant Wan Mai have more friends… it really looks like a great celebration! Just goes to show how lovely Wan mai is, just another baby elephant who’s allowed to be a baby elephant that she is at the ENP! Thank you! I have seen videos of her being just as caring and playful and flamboyant as other baby elephants! When first when I saw Baitoey’s tusk like thing I thought she was a young male but read that those are just small protuberances called tushes that both sexes of Asian elephants! Looks cute!

That's so awesome that Baitoey & Meeboon have joined Wan Mai's family & they've all accepted each other! That is a dream come true! It couldn't have worked out any better! I'm so happy for all of them, particularly Baitoey & Meeboon as it was just the two of them for so long. Hopefully this will mean Meeboon can rely on others within the herd to guide her & allow Baitoey to relax more. Wan Mai & her family were so excited to go into the new area, they were very inquisitive & loved the pool! 🥰🙏❤️🐘

@@tessdurberville711 Things there are not as we've believed them to be; we've known so little, but last summer I stumbled across information that I researched, and posted those URLs into my ENP Babes playlist description so people can go to each URL to read for themselves. Videos not in the playlist have been listed there as URLs, vitally important realities one can see with their own eyes. I recommend that people read up and examine those URL-videos, so they can know the realities. ENP is not a sanctuary, it's a privately owned, for-profit, tourism elephant-camp, that is its legal classification. Lek has a separate non-profit foundation called "Save Elephant Foundation," but that is *_not_* ENP. They like to present themselves as a non-profit sanctuary, but they are *_not._* They bring in multiple millions every year, the money donated through SEF is tax-free, they buy captive elephants and call them "rescues." There is a video (last in my ENP Babes playlist, and referenced in the playlist description) of Jungle Boy being ridden by a mahout holding an inline bullhook, the mahout was *_not_* happy being filmed, the same video that shows Lek and youngsters Faa Mai and Chang Yim, babies Navann and Dok Mai. There's a brief PDF of Elephant Aid International, Carol Buckley, who spent months there showing them how to take care of their feet and to build chain-free kralls, reported in their PDF report that they use sharp handheld objects to replace bullhooks, so tourists can't see them. We haven't seen bulls Hope or Jungle Boy in years, and there are pages in the elephant database that are enlightening, grieving, the URLs of which are posted in that playlist description. Lek had claimed towards the end of the 1990s to be practicing ethical handling, but there is much proof that that has not been the case, see those URLs and URL-posted videos.

I wish to visit there too one day, but I hope they're not agitated and afraid of strangers, even if they're nice. Especially since the mothers are protecting their babies.
