9.1 takes it each time. Except for the price in Ireland €650 approx for the 500 & €1200 approx for 9.1 if you can find the 9.1 Great comparison. Thanks for the effort.

Great comparison test 👍Base is almost the same but sound clearity on 500 is a bit muffling than 9.1 at 70% May be 50% will be almost same ? Or 🤔

Both gives clear sound but 9.1 had two rears speakers so it’s sound’s little better then jbl 500. Both are really great

I very much agree with you hands down looked at reviews all over and this is fantastic well done.

First bought the JBL 9.1 but one rear speaker was defect returned it. Also the bar with the speakers mounted did not fit under my tv (too wide). Bought the JBL 500 for 352 euro Black Friday deal. Real bang for your buck. Very happy with the quality and the purchase. More than enough for a small apartment. 😁

Both has 300watts, 10inch sub. 500pro,, 800 and 1000..but 1300 Non "X " Version. But 1300X version has 12 inch sub with, 300 watts.😳.. But 1300X version not yet Released universally.😪😪😪

What were your settings on the JBL One app ? in this soundbar JBL 500, there is an application with which you can use the equalizer

Both are in default settings without enhancements... later i will try to compare it with enhancements.

the 9.1 sound best but also det most expensive and they har not in the same price league and for people who dosent have so much money the 500 is a great choise and i will go for det 500 because i feel you get more for your money 🙂

I think it's really close, but in both the movie scene and music it was better to listen to 9.1 bar, because it is more balanced, I mean the partybox is literally all about bass, but the other was something new, like it said that: "I'm the best, choose me!"

Jbl var 1300x (12")Subwoofer'a sahip olup onun dışındaki (3.1,5.1,9.1,500,800,1000,1300)hepsi aynı subwoofer'ı kullanıyor.Ama model yükseldikçe amfi gücü artıyor ve bass daha çok esniyor.

In the UAE

voices sound like coming from a deep barel. Lots of bass and with strange echo... like the person is sitting in the near room and it is amprty... with lots of echo. To me it sounds distorted. Try a samsung soundbar and you will be able to hear voices that you feel are coming from the front, not from another room ora barrel. Bass is nice and deep but it too sounds it has echo and reverb... nice for explosions and boom boom.

@@KULASTECHSHOW20 Same here , JBL bar 500 it's a clear winner.(Money VS Sound ...). JBL bar 9.1 its expensive and its not to much differ vs JBL 500.

I hear it with sony wh1000xm4, and i feel jbl 9.1 is the best 👍🏻

Sorry for my bad english, I'm brazilian and recently i bought this BAR 500. Sometimes I turn on after a few days but the bar crashes and is slow to change functions and does not connect correctly to Bluetooth. So I need to unplug and plug again the BAR into the power. Have you ever seen this problem? Today I reset the BAR and I hope that it solves.

If we talked about the sound only, the old 5.1 would deliver more distinct and detailed sound elements compared to 5.1 set aside Dolby atmos, if you like bass, the 5.1 punchy extended bass will amaze you too

Result: Have to buy 9.1 or something else instead of JBL...

I recommend bar500 par

I have the bar 500. Great sound at higher volumes but at lower volumes at night there's way too much bass, it's just too much and not having a night mode or any real sound customisation doesn't help.
