I’ve seen a few comments about this channel being on life support. I couldn’t agree more! I was watching some really old unbox therapy videos the other day. So much more personality from Lew and the rest of the team, so much more fun, so much more fun with the demonstrations too. Now most videos just consist of boring sponsorships, no personality from Lew at all, rarely see any kind of interactions with anyone else in the studio. It feels like they’re just advertising products without really doing anything. It just feels all super rushed. At the end of the day they made it, they’re a huge channel, made tons of money and now they’ve made it they’ve got complacent sadly. I doubt it will change anytime soon.

Yes really sad. UT was such a great tech channel.. they were on the peak with the huge podcast studio they built and they used it i think once with Marques as a guest. After that it all collapsed.. And i think apple "cancelling" Lew hit him a bit too hard..

I've been subscribed for years, I always enjoyed his content, but now, I did something that I should have done long ago. It hurt, but it needed to be done. I won't watch another video on this channel until they start making good quality honest content again. RIP

That mention of Lew Later with no follow up was like a dagger to the heart. How could you do us like that?

I remember wanting some Bose speakers back in the mid ninties and couldn't afford them so I bought one of their giant coffee mugs. Still use it to this day for my hot cocoa and still the only Bose product I own.

This channel died when Lew Later died. I miss Lew and Will and Mo. was my favorite tech show of all time. The fact that there was no explanation to “The Community” made it sting extra hard

Sooooooo is this channel closing down soon? Video frequency dropped off a cliff. Sponsorships with almost no substance on the rise. Lew basically sounding like he’s reading from a script. Sad if it is but I just can’t imagine they’re actually putting energy into these videos any more

I’m considering upgrading from my Bose QC 45s in black that I’ve had for over two years to the new Bose ultra headphones in Sandstone colour

Be good to know how they sound for a head phone product, especially how the sound quality compares with Sony and Apple

How many devices can you connect at one time? Would it connect to my iPhone, Mac and Samsung Ultra all at the same time?

I am strongly considering these! Thank you for the app demo... Cannot beat the sound of my AirPod Max. However the AirPods Max get very uncomfortable after 30 to 45 min. Seems silly to carry multiple headphones though.

I have the qc35, nc700 and AirPods 3. Should I try the qc45 as ultra is not there in my region.

So, as I'm hearing, you can turn off the headphones with motion of your head? How does that work? That's pretty wild tech!

I got these for my wife and after two days of use, she got a rash around both of her ears. Returning them and giving the XM5s a try.

i got a pair of QC45s and they are awesome but have one MAJOR flaw. when they are connected to two devices the audio starts stuttering randomly... this is very sad and tbh unacceptable for such a high class pair of headphones... does the ultra have the same problem?

I wonder if the status 3anc is any good there being hyped up but do they actually sound better than AirPods Pro

I have had mine for a few days and the ANC is excellent, sound is pretty good and if you EQ them a lot better, but build quality at least for mine is terrible. The plastic headband creaks like a 1700s schooner, sometimes the left cup creaks, and moving your head produces soft 'thunk' sounds that are super annoying. They do not fully turn off, ( you can set how long until they do ) and the process of turning them on is weird, and takes a few seconds. Hate the touch slider for volume that is not smooth and causes big jumps and is easy to accidentally operate. I'm really torn about keeping or returning - These IMO are way overpriced for being so plasticky and having kinda shoddy build quality elsewhere... But man is the ANC nice, and I may keep them just for that.

Bought these on Black Friday after trying them on in store briefly and being impressed with the spatial audio and clear sound. When I actually had them in my hands and I compared them to my XM4s they simply didn't have the richness in bass. When you boost the bass in EQ, especially on heavier bass/edm songs the volume is reduced significantly. Mids and highs are impressive, but for my music taste they just didn't make the cut. Much prefer my XM4s and will probably upgrade to the XM5s instead.

I had a set of beats bought for me for xmas but they were faulted so sent them back, so i did some research and narrowed it down to trying a pair of Beats studio 3 pro or Sony 1000MX5's... While i was trying them i saw the Bose but turn away because they never gave the base i like but i thought ill try them.... O...M...G... Talk about GAME CHANGER!!!!! I thought that these were well out my price range but i had to have them. Yes they are more money than the other two but in my opinion they are worth the extra.... Beautiful head set and would 100% recommend buying them, at least try them because if you dont buy them you can kick yourself for buying the others....

I used to watch every unbox therapy video but stopped doing so about 1 year ago when I felt the channel changed from fun real reviews to just advertising products. I randomly decided to watch this video and yes its still the same boring paid ads. Switch it back to the og days Lew and I will be back in a heart beat

I had these about a month. I love the sound absolutely brilliant! The app is not super customizable but good enough. The ANC is great! The best you can buy hence the price tag. BUT I kept really dizzy, vertigo type feeling and had to return them. If I didn't have issue, which I have never had on other headphones I would have kept them. I am now trying the Sony XM5, so far no issues a few days in. I do miss the Bose QC Ultra sound though.

What are you selling on QVC today?

i can’t decide between white and black. white ones look better but i basically wear my headphones 24/7 - all day everyday so i’m scared they’ll get dirty faster. so i’m not sure if to go safer with black or follow my heart with white. my last qc35 ive had for 5 years beofre i lost em so i plan to live these until they die 😅

I had a bad experance with Bose for some stolen headsets. I manually registered my sets and they were stolen. Bose kindly unregistered them from me and reregistered them to the new person and will not give me or our local pd any info. Even after a police report and police called Bose. BTW - I bought these and though they would be better then my old Bose QC 30 but they were much the same.

Nice product i am done with bose. the earcups keeps breaking relativly fast on every bose product headset i have bought and they are expensive.

How does it compare to Sony’s XM5?

Was going to get this until I saw the B&W's PX8 headphones (McLaren Edition) and it's probably way better anyways :3

Bose still makes the best noise canceling headphones. I switch to Sony because the Bose lacks features and sound quality that the Sony's have. But i am curious if these new bose headphones can outperform Sony. I sure hope so because i do prefer noise canceling on the bose.

Qc II had no options to set up default noise cancellation. Everytime I turned on I had to click twice. I hope they fixed that.

No Aptx support on any Samsung phones!! Returned and got Sony XM5 and using Ldac now. Noise canceling on the Bose had a little hiss as well, were Sony does not. Just little info no reviewers will say.

Bose needs a new design department.

I got these headphones and I'm just saying, you've got to be getting paid here. There's so many connection issues and problems with the volume slider that are mentioned in customer reviews, but for some reason aren't in anyone's KZread videos. Wonder why.

I would have loved to find these as exceptional as their price tag. But they are not. These Ultras are aesthetically my favorite headphones to wear but the immersive sound is gimmicky to me. Aesthetically I love these, Acoustically I love the Airpods MAX and Practically I love the XM5s

Lew i did it. I mean I really did it. They should be here any day now. Just the regular jawns tho

I have QC35’s. QC ultra is definitely lighter, looks better and definitely has better ANC but it is not as loud overall. I still prefer my QC35’s, use them every single day.
