Lots of ignorance out there about this drivetrain and hybrid system: It’s a smooth as silk… and, unlike what’s said in this video, you do not need access to a ‘Hybrid charging system’, you can charge it at home with a special cable.

Assuming you have a home you can charge it in. If you live in a condo, apartment building, or park somewhere outside without electric charging access, you're screwed!

Yeah, it's too heavy. Just get the X5M. The future mods will be getting rid of the hybrid powertrain

It did look better at good wood, I was upset you couldn't hear it though. I just hope they look & sound better in person. The hybrid engine is so quiet

2500KG but With driver and full tank 2.6-2.700KG🤦‍♂️

That is an insane weight 🤦‍♂️ BMW needs to get their act together. I think they'll drop the hybrid system eventually & just do the engine

Not really... Side and rear looks good. Interior is nothing special compared to an g80 also the missing m shift nob triggers. I also dont understand the downgrade to 585hp instead of 625hp like the f90. So if the ev runs out of power you are sitting on 585hp with 600kg more than the f90.

@@manuelgolic7120Emission regulations, and its impossible for the battery to run out of charge. You get full power anytime. BMW engineers tried to deplete the battery but couldn’t. Also its a detuned s63 so stage tunes can easily bring up hp, and bmw tends to lie about power/weight specs.

Nah the previous m5 was peak, they went downhill with this new one I’d never buy it, it’s downright ugly compared to the previous gens

Same. Last m5 sounded so good & looked amazing but this one just aint it. Wonder if they'll ever fire the designers or just continue to do stuff like this. Manual in the M2 & M3 was a good move but this M5 is 🚮

@@GearsAndGains1 my favorites are the m5 from 2000 to the last one before this new one I feel like they’re the best ever made, imo they should’ve kept the v10 for all generations and should’ve made the m8 with a v10

Agreed! This one does look way too much like an electric car. The e39 Is probably my favorite but the V10 M5 in like 2009 is a close second. BMW has always made such great cars but recently I don't know what's wrong. I think the big M3 grill looks fine now but the M2 has been out for a while and I still think it's ugly.
