I love how Purdey and Gambit are talking about a Humphrey Bogart movie and sharing an orange during the car chase. Just shows how cool and nonchalant they are. Not to mention very fast runners as demonstrated during the foot chase through the industrial plant. And Purdey's kicks never disappoint.

Yeah, the tone of most of season one was good like this. It's a very "Avengers" thing to banter about mundane things in the midst of scary situations.

One of the closest episodes to the original Avengers series was Forward Base in the SECOND season AND made in CANADA 🇨🇦

The most remarkable thing about this car chase, is not the XJS handling , which shows how they can be thrown around like a smaller sports model, but how the Aston Martin DBS6 metamorphosis transition to a same colour AUDI 100S coupe. !
