I just got the same soldering iron but a different brand(basically rebranded for other regions/countries) my only complaint so far is the availability of replacement tips in my country. It is expensive and rarely sold here but the soldering iron itself is quite common. I should have gone for one that is made for T12 or TS100 tips.

That knife you used to open that plastic looks like it could use a sharpen.... I know a guy who's making and sharpening knifes 😂😂😂 .... just thought I'd throw that out there 😂😂😂😂 .... but anywho looks like a nice soldering iron I might have to look into one of them

The only thing I would be afraid of is the non-standard consumables. I have a soldering station and a Ryobi 18volt iron and they both use standard tips and heating elements

The iron looks like a rebranded Fnirsi HS-01. The tips I think are SH72's, which may not be as common as JBC tips, but they are used by several different irons and are fairly widely available.

@@eggmangoogle3146 Wow, you are right. It's the same iron and the Fnirsi HS-01 is only 33 bucks right now, compared to the Kaiweets label one is over 80 bucks. Damn...well spotted. And that Fnirsi is a helluva bargain.

I only have one complaint, pluggable USB cable. How many goofballs do we know that daisy chain extension cords, then plug in a heavy load? Someone will either substitute that USB cable (which has larger conductors) or they will add on a male-female extension USB cable. Furthermore, I also see someone trying to supply USB power from something other than the supplied wall adapter. It's a great product, nonetheless!

Sir it dc and not only that it usb c standered so u have 0 worry inless you bought a cheap ass defected usb cable cuz there a chip in usb cable that tell it how much voltage and amps to pull. Also it not like it 150w needed it 65w laptop there more. It 65w charger so inless ur planing to plug in 20 at once u don't have to worry. That what usb c amazing not only you can also get portable battery packs to run it off.

I'm still laughing though so worry about usb cable do you also worry about put aa battery in a flashlight
