The New 2022 Toyota GR86 is better? How much Better?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

2022 Toyota GR86 Review! Today, let’s drive the new 2022 Toyota GR86. Toyota and Subaru are calling this new GR86 2nd generation, but to me, it seems more like a facelift. But now, the new 2022 Toyota GR86 comes with a new 2.4L flat-four cranking out more hp and torque than before. And to be honest with you I just had too much fun driving the GR86 with the 6-speed manual. It just felt so much more engaging and fun! Lastly, I want to emphasize how the new 2022 Toyota GR86 handles. Okay, now let’s go outside and drive the 2022 Toyota GR86, then!

Good to see Toyota set the chassis up correctly. Would love to see them in the first year of ownership offer an ECU upgrade to release a little more power without voiding the warranty.👍🏼

I always love your videos! You are the first auto reviewer that understands what the GR86 and BRZ were made for…..handling. Pretty much every review I’ve read or watched people always complain that it doesn’t have mega horsepower. Same people driving a Miata and they love it despite it not having much horsepower either. People don’t seem to get that the GR86 and BRZ are meant to be like the Miata, quick though the turns but not a drag race car.

Like honestly, it makes no sense when EVENTUALLY like the GT86 there's gonna be a bunch of aftermarket parts to make it faster especially the Turbo kits which is for the HP obsessed car enthusiasts to make more power. Or if you're crazy enough just engine swap it.

Personally, i prefer Subaru BRZ over Toyota GR86. Especially in my country. While BRZ is also offered with base trim for both transmission, the GR86 is priced 9million won much more expensive because Toyota in my country decided to add-in extra bodykit, a "GR" exhaust, and car window gutter (im not sure if i used the correct term for it). If it were me and i believe most of the buyers would love to get the base trim and mod it, instead of buying it with bodykit.
