I still recall that day. This was a landmark match for us Dutch. It is now named "The Miracle of Tilburg". Strange to know that nearly 3 months later, neither team is going to the Olympics. The "Orange Lionesses" lost from both Spain and Germany.

What a night for womens football that was.

Toen er nog geen Belgie was werd Nederland ook wel eens Belgica genoemd. (Google maar eens wat kaarten van Nederland uit de gouden eeuw) Het is n term die Ceasar heeft gegeven aan de stammen die hij noordelijk van de Kelten trefde

Perhaps, the Dutch were not very lucky (or effective) either. It propably balances out in the End.

A script writer in Hollywood could not forsee such an outcome! Excitement and tense until the last second. Now the Netherlands have to face Spain! In Spain!! An unbelievable heavy task! I wish the Dutch women all the succes they need! ❤❤❤❤

Many goals that night Scottish GK looked sus... Either she's a terrible GK or it was on purpose.

Strobe effect. The editors can't even stay focused on one game and they've somehow got a crossed broadcast with a musical performance.

We don't care about Nations Cup but it means that England doesn't go to the Olympics and Netherlands is still not sure but could... Great job, Laubydelk !
