I showed my dad this song and it was the first time I’ve ever seen him in tears. He had a traumatic childhood where his dad left and he was pretty much raising his 2 siblings alone in a dangerous place. Now he served in the military because fighting for peoples life has been what’s he’s always wanted since he was a little guy. This song truly hurts my heart after hearing the story These lyrics “go ahead and cry little boy you know that your daddy did too, you know what your mama went through, you gotta let it out son just let it out.” That part really touched both of us. -guys I deleted the typo because some of you were pissed at me. Keep in mind I wrote this 6 months ago after my dad died fighting for lives so I was all over the place. Sorry for the misunderstanding 💓 it wasn’t my intention

Same my dad left me before birth and my step dad abused my mother and my siblings in fact we had a miscarriage because he hit my mom's stomach and just hurt her so trauma daddy issues and depression plus anxiety yay....

My dad always abused me and my sister, my mom had weird behaviour for years, my sisters hands sometimes were shaking cause of stress, and I had social issues and got into stress eating, my mom made him leave 2 years ago and its been the best. Now I lost 50 pounds of weight and I work out, my life is much better without him. Thanks for reading. I wish you guys the best.

As someone who has daddy issues (Absent) the lines "What are you thinking about?" "I'm thinking about what you are" is so real. Because we talk through text because he moved the furthest he possibly could from us, and knows nothing about me, so I just try to keep it centered on him.

Recently , my parents got divorced and we will wait for the court to call us , I have daddy Issues , as well as Mommy Issues too , everything is pretty unwell and I couldn't concentrate on my feelings and I felt truly burnt out by the incident. My parents were always in fight and our family , we never got or made a connection with each other before , as the third child , what we'll always do is we argue just like our parents. Every single day gets worse and even worse by our argument , this reminds me when I got abused by my own sister because she misheard and thought I accused my little brother , which I clearly not .. Of course , I fought back but suddenly she kicked me and when I fought back and told her that she is the first one who started it , she told me it was me who started it and that time, I cried with anger and shouted my lungs out that everybody could hear me . Of course she began to hit me until my left arm and my cheek was wounded , I couldn't eat or drink properly so I chose to starve myself till the wounded were healed Which also reminds me when we got into an argument about me trying to play with my little brother by tickling him or jokingly smacking his ass but my little brother cried and of course , my sister arrived and started to argue and then when I told her I don't care about him playing games or whatsoever or whatever he's doing , she told me the most heartbreaking , the most heart crashing ever , "Just like how we all don't care about you!" and I was shocked and I yelled back at her , "If i was dead ? You wouldn't care at all?" and her replied was the most saddest and yet the most overthinking situation i've ever encountered in my life , "Then go ahead , go die !" I don't know but my father is control , possessive , a psycho and very aggressive person and his personalities were connected to my Brother and my Sister , he loves to blame on people and acts like a victim just like my sister and he's a 2 faced , around people he's all extrovert , with us , he's the most worst just like my brother. All of them were trying to take advantage of my mother , they recorded and stalked , let's just say spying on my mother but my mother never cheated , not even once. While that , my father did cheat by looking and texting with girls on face books. They wanted to take advantage of my mother and I hate it so much. My mother also mentioned that when he talks to girls , he'd say "That's just my colleages , my co - worker" but when my mother talks to guys or her guy friends , he thought that she has someone on her back which is unfair and I hate it But I'm glad I went through this path because my family were always toxic , and the most aggressive people , except my little brother , including my mother Edit : I'm telling the truth , It's not a lie and I vent because It meant a lot to me and how much pain I encountered these for a couple of days now. Of course our fight it's still the same but it gets worst.
