    This is a testament to Steph Curry’s greatest. He once took advantage of the drawing fouls rule, however he is showing that his game is more than that. I really hope the league doesn’t pander to the superstars and change the rule back or soften it. It’s the best rule change in some time.

  • @vsk1494

    I mean steph averages around 5ft a game. his game was never really based on foul hunting. Sure he tries to do it sometimes but that isn't really his game.

  • @goldenstatewarriors9418

    @goldenstatewarriors9418

    2 жыл бұрын

    Exactly. Thats the difference between Harden and Curry. Harden relies on a certain set of tricks to get his wins. I wouldn't call him cheap, but he depends on gimmicks and exploiting loopholes. Once those rules are removed, half his points are gone. He's still decent, but no longer overinflated. Steph Curry will play by the rules that exist, but his game doesnt depend around it. There's no replacement for spectacular shooting ability. When things are made a bit harder for him, he'll continue to be great. When he gets bad calls, he'll nail a bunch of threes. When he has an off game, he strikes back soon enough.

    What’s crazy to me is how KD improves quietly but so efficiently it’s astounding. Dropped 30 on 92%, takes around 17 shots per game and is leading in scoring with almost 30 ppg with over 55% FG. When everyone was complaining about the ball he was asked about it and basically said it’s the same thing. Truly the most prolific scorer we’ve ever seen.

    Yeah, I agree to the new rule change. This is definitely for the better of the game. No one wants to see Harden to shoot free throws...! But don't underestimate the fatigue, this off-season period was significant shorter. Older and more utilized players from last season didn't have enough time to recover, while the younger ones are fresher... Also I believe the ball change is a big issue for the older ones. I hated to play with Wilson compared to Spalding's. Spalding's balls always had a smoother grip and less bounce. The ball almost glued to the rim, while Wilson's balls bounces like crazy away...

Also the 80's had a way higher pace than today, even the 00's was tougher. It’s frustrating watching NBA basketball when high priced players complain every possession over touch fouls. Fans want to see SKILLS , not bailouts cause you was to lazy to make a move past your defender to score. Bait fouling is not apart of basketball culture and the officiating crew finally eliminated it. People don’t bait foul in street ball, they just hoop. I just wanna see the skills that got you guys to the league on full display.

    The NBA is finally watchable again. It had gotten so bad with Smart's flopping, the 'kickout' on every three attempt to draw a bogus foul, the ... *sigh* we ain't got the time... Now though... yeah... this is much better. Watching teams with different styles play serious hoop with no bs 'working the rules'. This is the product I want for my pro hoops. Honestly I had a cable setup where I got to watch the Euro league games and they were starting to be more entertaining. The NBA is back baby... Now I'm going to have to catch a Hornets game just for the announcers....so far my fave is Stacey King and Adam Amin for the Bulls. Stacey is entertaining and informative.

    I really hope that Zach is able to pull that MVP award this season he's been pulling the bulls together, and after his finger injury man is dropping 30+ points a game.
