I always wondered why in some concert footage his voice sounds so weird and thin and this just made me understand. Engineer probably pulls out the midrange so he can be heard, leaving the rest of his dynamics to die

Pretty amazing how the rest of the band fills in on the vocals during Mr. November, after Matt's mic cuts out. Definitely shows how awesome their musicianship is!

Saw them 2 nights ago at Red Rocks, Colorado. Beyond compare! They had us, the audience, sing the last song: Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks. I cry thinking about it.

i love the amount of appreciation they seem to have for their fans.. Their shows seem very intimate regardless of the amount of people.

Every single morning, for the last 11 days my life doesn't begin until I watch the whole video. I think I am in trouble! In good one & I love it :) More people should hear about them. Wonderful band

I still keep coming back to this video, 6 months after the first time I saw it. The love version of Don't Swallow the Cap gets me every damn time. It's just so good.

the National is the greatest band

two things impressed me about this video. first the band, they are jump up&down awesome! and second, lol all that smoke rising from the audience.

Wow.. Okay.. Absolutely HAVE to see them live at some point in my lifetime.

Surely this will be looked back upon as NATIONAL at their absolute peak??

i am not a crazy indie rock music fan but The National is maybe the best rock band in the world right now

That performance of Sorrow though....

At Bloodbuzz Ohio I would've started pushing everyone standing around me and started the biggest mosh pit during any National show, ever. Of course I do realize it would probably just end up as two guys beating the shit out of me, but it's an intense song with some heavy undertones that carries such tension until the climax. I would loose my shit hearing that live.
