I love that she normally sings at a high pitch in her Chvrches music, but shows a lot more range in this song. I love both Chvrches and The National. This is a great version of this song.

I just remembered this video after a little more than 4 years; came back and not disappointed at all. So many memories, so many things happened in the last 4 years. I am appreciating and cherishing them, one by one, with the fantastic voice of Lauren Mayberry in the background. Thanks to whoever responsible for this performance.

I copied both channels to stereo and applied a pseudo stereo effect on the better sounding channel.

Great performance, but bad sound mix. Not sure why, but the National seem to always give sound engineers trouble. It's rare to see one of their performances with a good mix.

ALWAYS! And THANK YOU. She is the worst lead singer I have every heard. Just this morning KZread suggested a Death Cab For Cutie video with her singing, which led to this one. Who forces these bands into these collaborations! Someone else posted, "Why doesn't Chvrches sing in harmony?" To anyone with ears, it is obviously because they cannot sound good with the lead out of tune to begin with. Again, THANK YOU!

She’s singing very softly, in keeping with the soft vibe of the song and to not overshadow the other singer’s performance. Even when she sings softly, you can hear she has an awesome voice. This isn’t a belt out song..

the national's overall tone is so ZZZ........oh sorry i fell asleep
