Well that's not true, youtube existed before apophis was discovered and frankly nothing has changed. Apophis will likely hit earth on April 13th 2029, that hasn't changed. You'll see plenty of videos between now and then but the date doesn't change, nor will it. In so far as NASA giving a warning, well that's complete lies and garbage. NASA knows, but they aren't going to warn anyone, why bother?

True, but if you look into other research on the topic, the "close pass" on that date might be enough to perturb its trajectory just enough that its next intersection with the Earth's orbital path 7 years later, it could. Again on April 13th, again on a Friday, but in 2036. This does leave a good bit of time to do "something" about it, but with the dwindling numbers of STEM graduates, who is going to be the person or group that will find a way?

They're all relevant dates. The asteroid is orbiting earth. Each time it does a revolution, it has a chance of hitting earth. So it's not just one time and then safe, it will keep circling.
