yes yes....and if you bring up what happened or think you can discuss it and get closure, they then say something like, oh, I am over that or that didn't really upset you did it? or you are so sensitive .. and make you feel like it was your fault or you took it all too seriously. Gaslighting big time. Best to , as you say, ignore them and move on.

Yes I agree, did a lot for her even wash her clothes, walk her dog, gave her ride to work and I live 60 miles away plus gifts and $$$. Then dump me and tell me she has a boyfriend that turn her to Europe. She has a better supply .

After I left the female narc, I'm very happy, I enjoy playing a lot of golf, bought a 49 chevy truck, installed a pool table. There's no room, or desire to have her back in my life. I don't want demon driven people in my life in any form or fashion. She made her bed, now sleep in it. Enjoying the happy life, why would any sane person want to be in that again? Not this boy!

Narc has no patience , even they want to come back, they mess up and who wants them back anyway.

My gate is locked. My car is in the tractor barn, the door is locked and the lights are off. No one is home for the narcissist!

After 8 years beeing with a Narcissist she left me out of the blue for someone else thats 1 and a half year ago now ! Few months ago she reached out with some BS story just to give me a bad feeling about myself …. I dont give a F anymore i gave her my heart and soul she broke that and that will never happen again ! You have to forgive him for *your* sake, honey - not for his. We do that to keep our light shining, to free ourselves from the prison of bitterness, to uproot any roots of hatred and to let go of any resentment. And for believers, we have to forgive because the Lord asks us to in Mark 11:25 - it's a command, not an option - otherwise He won't forgive us either (we also have to bless our enemies.. and yep, being a Christian is no picnic!). None of us want to do it because we feel like we leave them off the hook, but that's not the case. Forgiving someone does not mean that we have to be close to them, see them again nor take them back. We can forgive them while staying No Contact. Just let go and let God - He will deal with them. I pray everyday for the Lord to help me forgive the Narcs, and I'll do so until I get there. Hopefully you will be inspired to do the same so that your beautiful heart doesn't keep any un-forgiveness inside. God bless x

When I dumped the Narc after an 18 year nightmare he wanted us to be friends for the sake of our son, he wanted me to visit his new home and see him in a new environment, I have no idea what that meant, did he think the environment made him a better person??? I said no, I would never be his friend and he turned immediately into the monster that was so familiar to me.

I’m going through the same thing now. 12 years. I don’t know if it was a mutual discard but I seen the writing on the wall. When you have someone that tells you the love they are giving you is not enough and if I don’t like it I can look else where. Either you just don’t care or you have supply waiting for you. Any sense it is all unhealthy. I didn’t know narcissism was this real. Awful people.

I'm going to listen to this everyday! I fell in love with my mid range covert narc when I was 15. 33 years later I'm out. He literally drove me crazy (prozac valium 8 years of therapy about MY childhood and family of origin) No contact with him and his family, who always saw him as the hard working, caring husband has cleared my head. Once you see them for what they are, remember you also see yourself for what you are; kind, compassionate, intimate, genuine, loving, authentic, life GIVING. Give these gifts to yourself because you are worthy of them.

Glad you got out, it took me 13 years, it was a huge decision because it affected me financially as well. I tried and tried to make it work for HER and her kids sake even but it got unbearable. Now I’m alone and have to work 5 more years but I’m happier and free (except for the stalking, she’s back trying to suck me in again/still been over 2 years she will hound me forever she said so, it pisses me off and she knows it but unless I file a police report/order she’ll continue. I’m actually a bit concerned.

Definitely keep giving to yourself. When I saw my narc for what he was, my entire lookout on life changed. It's been a lot of bad, but there's been strides of growth in me. For example, June 6, I left, forever this time. I had tried so many times for so many years to leave. I even moved out with my daughter 5 years into our marriage because he punched her in the face, but then he went to prison, and I never even thought about living with him after that. For 7 years we lived separated. Anyway, my outlook was dismal, you know, what did I do wrong? Why is this happening, I did everything I could? Or Why was I so stupid? Then out of nowhere I changed those thoughts to tell myself I didn't do anything wrong, so why should I feel so guilty, rejected, and miserable when he's the wrong one? I have that phrase and reminding myself the reasons (disrespect, pride, evil, destruction, chaos, disorder, dysfunction...you know narcissist character traits) I freaking left him, and then I feel courageous, bold, and confident a lot of days. Others I have to take it moment by moment.

Also, as I told the last narc I dealt with, they don't need a reason to lie, to abuse, or mess with your head. They do it because they CAN. The Hoover is to appease their ego and can be just because they are bored. They thrive on drama and chaos. Any attention is better than no attention. Starve them.

Run and don't look back...they can be good for a short period but the abuse rolls around again and again like a broken record. The sad part is they could be a successful person but the choice to cheat and treat you like a piece of shit treating you so bad

One thing I learned from a lot of videos and articles about narcissism is that THEY WILL NEVER CHANGE, THEY ONLY WANT WHAT YOU CAN GIVE THEM, THEY WILL NEVER RECIPROCATE. BETTER KEEP THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE LIKE THEY NEVER EXISTED, KEEP NO CONTACT. IGNORE.

Another great reminder that we're not alone and narcissists follow similar patterns. We all like to believe we're special and in some cases that someone can change for us, but if they're a narc they really won't - that doesn't diminish your worth or the fact that you're a shining light in this world. They will trouble , and distress you ! But we have snapped out of absorbing , and reacting, and now we observe and respond . Keeping it simple , I certainly do not want to live in their world , and they can't function in mine . The narcissist Only misses the power , and control they had over you . They do not recognize , us as a person , so they have no appreciation , we were loving , caring , attentive , and it was genuine. They credit themselves , their ability to deceive, manipulate , take advantage . That is their world Be not anxious , observe , and respond accordingly. Their goal ? If they can get us absorbing , and reacting they then can "feel" like masters of their own universe

My wife of 21 years left as soon as the kids went their way. Daughter is in college. Son is in trade school. I had confronted her with her behavior and narcissism 8 months ago and just waited. She left. 7 days later started openly dating with no regard. Told me “you should date…I am”. I waited…last weekend, she wants to be back. Nope. The divorce will be final in 40 days. These videos are so important to realize what happened, what happens and what they want. Thank you. BTW: being prepared years in advance really helps if you are stuck or not quite ready (emotionally, physically or financially). Freedom!!!!

It took me finally actually standing up on my two fit and slamming(!) My first down on a table after the horrid beast of a sibling who had been verbally and viciously abusing an elderly women with dementia..our mother...( My mom and I were not that close at all until her final years)then this sibling turned those dagger eyes on me and started right in my face(that was the last time for me) I have never been so ready to protect myself if need be. They are sadistic monsters. ( If I had to watch her do this to any other person but especially an elderly person not even our mother I would have felt the same disgust.)

He's tried to hoover me back 3 times in 3 weeks, being nice and being horrible too, like you said they do this in any way. However, it hasn't worked, and i'm standing firm and i am so proud of myself

What really brings the narc down is eventually revealing o them that you had your back-up supply all the while that you were "playing" them. Their egos carry them away and they believe in their own grandiosity -- that you'll put up with their infidelity or neglect because you love them, only to find out that your back-up supply has been stashed right under their noses. So, before your swan song, make sure the narc knows about your reserve supply stash who, ironically, is probably also a narc. They can then commiserate with each after after you've discarded them both.

They only miss the energy. They are the biggest energy vampires walking on earth .

Such people are just miserable and looking for company. I’m the last one anybody can lie to again. ☝🏽

I walked out of a horrible relationship some years back, i don't know why i had put up with the crap for so long, i don't think we do. I was told by her father to get out because like her previous relationships i would end up with nothing. I just walked out & went silent!!. She got in touch a couple of times but never got a reaction. I suddenly realised how unhappy i had been!, i was now happy & a couple of years after she first tried to contact me she tried again! & got, Nothing!!! ... silence, & it worked. I am happy now & glad i listened to her father. He made me relise what i was getting & what i was losing which would of been me!!

Yes, Andrew, you described such an accurate picture of how a narcissist behaves. Like you, I don’t wish the pain I went through even on my worst enemy of how being discarded feels like. It was the worst time in my life. I became not only mentally but physically sick where I needed to be on meds just to be able to eat to sustain myself. It was literally like being ripped into pieces and thrown out in the dirtiest trash can yet these narcs don’t realize what they had done to us. They act like they did nothing wrong. That’s why it’s a disorder!! It’s like a psychopath going about his/her normal routine after brutally murdering someone on the street. It’s quite scary how the brain of the narc works. Now even the thought of my ex narc makes me want to vomit. Thank you for your videos. They help so much when I need to hear and be validated on the trauma I went through. A failed relationship with a narcissist isn’t just two people who loved each other and then deciding to break up. No, not at all. It’s a torturous f’ing mind game they play with abuse, betrayal, lies, etc that you feel absolutely destroyed when it’s over. My ex is now living with the low grade supply he cheated on me with during the discard and back then he treated her like a queen while tearing my heart out. Yet now he calls and texts me with excuses to see me as if he cares. WTF! I hope he goes to hell!!!

Yep. Ripped into pieces and thrown into a dirty trashcan daily with jealous rages over nothing and threats and manipulations and false accusations. And on top of all he cheated on me constantly on phone or in person with other women. Never thought people like that existed!

@@lidiyas7153 He is such a sick person. I had blocked his number but he calls from strange unfamiliar numbers ( maybe burner phones or other people’s numbers) and leaves messages. If I knew it was from him I would delete all messages without even checking them but I don’t know that bc I don’t know these numbers. He also had his mom try to contact me. He also tried to email me too. Something I would never be able to understand is why these narcissists can’t move on when they were the ones who did the discarding and destroyed the relationship in the first place. They are crazy!

They will message you. “Hey hope you are doing great “. As if nothing ever happened….

Thank you for this video! One of the last times my nex and I tried talk things out…I noticed he wanted a “clean slate” and I wouldnt let him have it so he discarded. Things didn’t really start to sink in until about 2 months later. I am now in no contact and becoming happier every day you are right…they are bullies and cowards and I’m happy I see the situation for exactly what it was now 🙏🏼 He will never get me back….I’m ready for real happiness.

At no point in my life have I thought my destiny was to be a 'revolving door'. My response is a 'rock like NO' that makes Gibraltar look like a pebble. I'm not a DOOR...I'm a W-A-L-L of solid rock!!! For these twerps...I still have my Heart and I'm protecting it like a She-Wolf or a Lioness!!!

My ex knocked at the door after 4 years. I said “what do you want?” He said “nothing. I just haven’t seen your face or talked to you in a while.” I just made short conversation and said that i had to go. As i closed the door, i said “and thanks for the apology.” He just paused like he might say something and then walked away. Same old tricks. He always used the power of suggestion. Didn’t say “i miss you” just that he had not talked to me. Then the dramatic pause as if he had something to say at the end…and then nothing. I had already moved but i still shook my head at the fact that he was just a robot that spit out certain phrases and tried to use the exact methods of manipulation he did several years ago.

Thank you Andrew 2 months ago I left a relationship like this my breaking point was when he choked me, I still stayed then slowly realised I was living in hell all this time, broke it off, he still has my pictures on social media, he destroyed my self confidence, gave me anxiety, depression, I came across your video by pure chance, and everything you said has happened to me...UK London.🤗 And now your videos are helping me to stay well away from him and anyone remotely displays any of these signs. I helped my ex husband through college. Nurtured & cared for him when he was sick. Gave him three beautiful children. He discarded me after thirty years of marriage for an alcoholic girlfriend he met on the internet. She is now in prison. He may very well want me back but I would never put myself back in that situation. He is SOL. I value myself way too much. No contact is the greatest blessing on earth.

I gave 18 years of my life to that monster. He was my everything. I loved him so much. He threw me away like I was garbage. I hope he knows me well enough, and he is smart enough to know better than to EVER try to even speak to me or be anywhere near me. Honestly at this point I think all I'd be able to do is laugh in his face. May he rot.

Thank you for the reminder here Andrew. I see the games now that I threw him out. I will not forget because I have a journal of how he treated me. I read it every time I feel like giving up. He never wanted to talk about anything, and exactly right, he never took ownership for why we parted severely time. The book IS closed. Thank you for reminding me who we are. Gave him way too many chances. And even though it’s not easy moving forward, I would never want to be on the roller coaster of hell again.

Getting high on my own healthy supply works great. Thank you Andrew! ❤️

Thank you for the reminder Andrew..."NOTHING will be different"...I had "friends" tell me to go back to him since they assumed he'd learned his lesson after I left him...and that he maybe would be kinder/nicer/more respectful to me the next time around...thank God I listened to my intuition (NO contact) and watched your videos over and over...even thought on some level I felt bad not contacting him since "friends" were telling me how miserable he was without me...I stayed strong...thank you for your help..

Learn to love yourself people. And love God. I never thought I could survive so much in my life. Once I retire, I will write books about similar things. Thank you

Just have to express my gratitude for your videos and spreading awareness on this narcissist epidemic. I'm at a point right now where I feel like everyone in my life is either a narcissist or flying monkey. Over this period of me trying to get a fresh start I've experienced hoovering/love bombing and flying monkey trying to rope me back into the situation. I've been trying to utilize strategies such as greyrocking and no contact but it's difficult when I have no privacy or proper outlet, as I believe someone is relaying everything I do on social media. Hopefully though better days are coming where I don't have to worry about this anymore. Hopefully everyone else dealing with this is able to heal and cope properly as well.
