I am sobbing. "They are people" I was a member of a church and didn't understand the voices inside my mind and talked to an elder. They performed a deliverance. It was terrifying. Then I lost all of the support.of the "friends" from my church. I still fall into thinking maybe they were right. This was what I needed to hear to keep hoping. Thank you!!!!!!! 70 percent of those of us w DID attempt suicide, myself included. These are the conversations that need to take place .

Lmao sounds like u haven’t been diagnosed with DID. Symptoms are not hearing voices. You can’t communicate with the identities you’ve created in your head bc they’re all made up by you and ur mind just chooses when one of them needs to be pulled “out” in order to protect ur mental health. They are fake ppl created in ur own mind based off ideas you have in order to protect urself from danger, these fake people can’t use the same brain as you to make voices in ur head of the identities you created. That’s never been shown in DID, the only mental illness linked to hearing voices is schizophrenia and those voices aren’t ppl in their head, it’s voices they hear externally. There’s no such thing as hearing voices IN UR HEAD with any mental illness, that’s just ur own thoughts and ur just slow and thinkin it’s another voice possibly bc u can’t control what ur mind thinks of. You def ain’t got DID and that’s very prominant from the comment you made. Idk why ppl like u feel like u gotta lie for no reason smh

From what I understand, demons can be cast out pretty easily and sometimes incorrectly. A lot of psychics and people who practice Raki remove demons from people’s lives. But what I have noticed from the patterns of testimonies that I’ve read, these demons have come back into their lives and there were more of them. So they came back stronger. They weren’t casted out correctly. That’s why demons try to get u to cast them out. The only effective way to cast them out is through Jesus Christ because he was the only one on Earth who did not give into any temptation (whether that be the mind/soul or body). That is why they shutter over his name. You know who might be interesting to u? Ravi Zacharias. He is very well spoken and has appeared on the Ben Shapiro show. He just died recently but his teachings are very insightful.

Ok. What about the several languages that she was able to speak? If those languages were not accessible to her when she was lucid how was she fluent in them in her "possessed" state? Also, if your contention is that one of many symptoms of DID is abnormal behaviour, then isn't it premature and naive to entirely disregard that they might be due to supernatural causes? Especially, if they cannot be associated to be biologically and physically stemmed through "science". I suppose, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

soslothful with all due respect, if there’s “no supporting evidence “ on any claim then one should refrain from speaking publicly regarding any matter; specially claiming expertise. @@morin.1719 Yes! To your first statement. That is exactly what I was implying. Whether the presenter has such evidence is another matter. To your second point one would first have to establish there are demons and that possession can take place. Then one can propose indicators of possession. Last, whether the speaking of an unknown language is demonic is questionable. Consider the concept of speaking in tongues. Said to be possession of the Holy Spirit.

Once we told him it was December 4 he stopped breathing a couple of hours later. So I'm sure he was aware but just couldn't move. Yes we don't know clearly at this point of time. It'll take many years of efforts. But at least what we know, based on that we have remedies to the problems. That's why the scientific approach is much fascinating, it doesn't force you to believe something, but it's something that tirelessly search for truth such that if for 100 times if you get the rrsult, if you try on experiementing you'll get the same result 101th time too. But yes, philosophically there is nothing called an absolute truth. Still I would stick to science, because it has strengthen mankind(also cursed in some other way like weapons etc)

And also it doesn't have to be demonic possession the human brain can do wild unprecedented things that doesn't mean there's some dark entity messing with our psyche... Maybe they had heard this foreign language when they were much younger and they just paid no attention to it it was in the subconscious and in cases of extreme mental fatigue or whatever was going on with them their subconscious brought it back and displayed it in the form of some personality that could speak that language the human mind is far from understood and the power of suggestion on the UN-understood mind, the power of suggestion is far more powerful than the majority of us realize

@@ParadiseLordRyu I don't know what you mean with traceable. If you know that the possessed person does not speak a certain language, like French , Hebrew , Arabic or whatever else and all of a sudden he starts speaking it then that is a sign of possession. There are many signs but this is one of them. Exceptional strength all of a sudden is another sign. Priests who have he authority of the Church to exorcise know all about it. The Church is very careful not to take anybody's word for it so there is a process beforehand. The priest has to be chosen by the Bishop to do it , not just any priest can take it upon himself. Then the "sick" person has to have a medical checkup by different doctors , to prove that they could not find any medical reason for his/her strange behaviour. for instance psychiatric reasons, schizophrenia for instance. When all of that is cleared then the priest can do his work. If you are interested then check out Father Ripperberger he is one known priest who does exorcisms and gives talks about it.

If you've been exposed to a language before (like on the TV or radio) your subconscious may be able to recall some of it and sometimes mix it together with your native language (so it sounds like even more "unknown languages"). It's not like in the movies where an Italian priest performs an exorcism on an English man and he suddenly speaks to him in Italian. He might yell "PUTA MADRE сука Блядь". Especially in Europe, where the languages are often similar (like a mix of German and English could sound close to Swedish or Dutch).

Even if religion has a very importaint point in our existence, that there's nothing wrong of believing that there's a god or no god since it's a belief that can not be proved or disproved, and that some spiritual and religious beliefs are indeed believed by scientists, overall some of these stuff like possessions and jinn can easily be explained by science and are eerily similar to situations that no one said had to do with possessions.

I'm just saying that sometimes and keyword here "sometimes" science can explain some and keyword here again "some" of these beliefs and that sometimes and again the keyword here is "sometimes" religion can halt or even slow down technological advancement but again that's only "some" of the time since there were also times in history that religion can actually make some benefits to technological advancement. So again I don't have a problem with people having a different set of beliefs than I do or with other people. All I'm just trying to say here is that history can sometimes show us that there could be some things that science can explain that religion can't but there's also times that religion can explain things that science can't. Plz read this: Look up Richard Gallagher. He's an actual physician, a man of science, not a superstitious man. He's the guy that the Church goes to to find out if someone's actually possessed or if they have a mental disorder. He says that 99% of times, there's a psychological explanation, like schizophrenia or epilepsy, but there are some rare cases where they are undoubtedly demon-possessed. They do things like speak perfect Latin, speak in voices not their own, and have super-strength. These people are perfectly mentally healthy and the only thing that cures them is an exorcism. To dismiss this on account of it being "superstitious" and not actually investigate it is very unscientific.

Science is fine and well. However, I spent a week researching skinwalkers here in southern AZ. I genuinely believe I drew the attention of one. It seems it was a blessing though, because it brought me to the feet of God, and He drove this thing away. As an atheist skeptic of 21 years, I couldn't explain what happened after I felt like something was watching me through the window at my parent's house. I really tried. Science addresses only the natural world, and the super natural/ paranormal really seems to exist. I would never run away from someone who claims to be plagued by the supernatural, but I can't discount the possibility of it being true. Mental illness is real, but when you look into the shadow figures the schizophrenic, and meth users, and others see, you might be willing to accept that there is something more than the 4-5 dimensional reality we live in. I wish you luck in your journey of life, and if you want to talk, I will respond.

And if science can identify or codify split or mutiple personality disorder, it doesn't mean demonic possession does not exist or can be easily dismissed. In short, science may identify the symptoms of an disorder. But the original cause of that disorder has yet to be explained. And the supernatural abilities, such as, speaking in foreign languages cannot be explained. So the guy is equating symptoms with the cause. He identifies the symptoms as those of MPD, and so the cause is MPD. That way of resolving a medical problem or any problem is circular and leave a large gap of the problem unresolved or neglected.

John S. Butler Its hard to believe in demonic possession when you have not seen it in person. No matter what you find on the internet of demonic things happening, it will still never convince you enough to believe in them. I know how you feel, i have been there myself! But then i have experienced several encounters with demons and demonic possessed people and now know its real. To answer your question, yes there are videos of demonically possessed people doing demonic things, but even after seeing these it will be hard for you to believe in them. I am praying for you🙏🏼

There's no way that these people have never experienced something that they couldn't quantify or explain. That alone should be enough to believe that there's more, to me. While DID can explain a lot of things thought to be possession, he begins his thesis with a fallacy: if there is a disease that can explain these symptoms, the possession idea is refuted. This is a non sequitur fallacy. It could be that possession has symptoms similar to DID. That being said, I understand he's trying to say we have no need to attribute it to paranormal explanations. But I have do say he didn't explain everything. He mentioned Annaliese spoke other languages. Many other possession cases have the same thing from people who do not have sufficient or often any experience at all. How can DID explain knowing another existing language fluently? Things like diseases are internal to the body, but languages are learned and cannot lie dormant in you without prior knowledge. Also many cases involve the demon knowing things a human couldn't know without having paranormal abilities. Lastly, I've even heard of cases where the possessed will have super-strength to throw couches or other extremely heavy objects. I think DID can explain somethings, but when you start to have powers that there's no way you could have, especially speaking languages such as Latin, DID is not the best explanation. Possession is.

I agree with the language part and I wonder about that too. But as for throwing the heavy stuff, I’m not a science person but I’ve read that our strength is limited by our minds so I think it’s still possible that without possession the person can still throw the heavy stuff because he or she with DID as I’ve learnt here in this video isn’t in control of the mind anymore and doesn’t consciously know the amount of strength that we humans may have.

If one throws the out the demons, then one must also throw out the angels…but there are countless “miracle” stories where people have experience supernatural support… I’m not experienced with angels or demons and I do see the human body can be addicted to its own chemical concoctions, recreating traumas and experiences…but I do know only now that science is only just starting to catch up with what the wise and ancient Tibetan monks have known for centuries. You just can’t simply it into “either or” thinking…otherwise you’re just following Descartes, who formed the great split between science and spirituality…(only 400 years ago!). Following the bread crumb trail of consciousness is a more interesting pilgrimage I feel…

That’s hogwash. Religion starts with the conclusion and then forces to make the answers fit…….science does the opposite. It asks questions that lead to conclusions. The bottom line is this, and this is something you can’t deny: Through the centuries- supernatural explanations have ALWAYS been replaced by natural ones. It’s never gone backwards. Natural disasters and diseases were once considered demonic, but now they are not. The sun was once considered a god, but now it’s not. Sleep paralysis was considered demonic but now most people understand it is a natural phenomenon. That is a fact you have to accept. Religion does nothing more but get in the way of real explanations, and mostly perpetrates fear and superstition in people.
