Ok as a Jokic fan I am digging this re litigating of the MVP. Nuggets fans tried to explain why Jokic was more valuable and I think a lot of people are finally seeing that. That being said Embiid had a really good year and he is a very talented player His second best player in Harden mostly let him down in the playoffs and is now going back to Houston because the strip clubs in Philly just aren't up to his par (I don't know that just assuming that is why Harden wants to go back). Embiid is still really talented. But like Trey Kirby said on No Dunks podcast if he wants to win a chip he should go play with a team like the Heat so he does not have to be the #1 option. Which again how can you win an MVP if you can't even be the best player on your own team idk? But the league really, really did not want to give Jok his third MVP.

The Embiid problem high key started in 2019. Everyone should have put Embiid on blast for that abominable performance against the Raptors. He had no problem showboating during his 1 good game that series, but then expected everyone else to believe that he was sick during the rest of the series. 17.6 - 8.7 on 37% shooting with more turnovers than assists is abysmal for a guy who claimed to be the best center in the NBA. The enormous pass he got that year was very telling for years to come. It's an absolute shame that his teammates like Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and now James Harden have to take the blame for Embiid's shortcomings as a teammate.

When it comes time to play in the playoffs, Joel Embiid is the polar opposite of Playoff Jimmy. Maybe it has something to do with the controversial MVP award that he kept begging for. Was that all he cared about? Meanwhile, Jokic and the Nuggets are on their way to the finals and showing the rest of the world who the real MVP is, Nikola Jokic. That would be so sweet if they win the title and Jokic wins the Finals MVP. Jokic has already proven that hes the real MVP and maybe the rest of the world will see the how the entire Nuggets team have been underrated and under appreciated this year.

Coaching a super team with 3 HOF players in prime. It's sad that race is reason Embiid won MVP. When you fold in playoffs. Then throw team under the bus. Media after this has to stop putting Embiid in with top players. Never in history has a player won by crying about individual awards. The voters should be ashamed. Regular season awards or not. Player's mental health and sports psychology as a whole clearly needs some attention in Philadelphia. Embiid hasn't been developed into a league leading big man like he should have. Rookie of the year Simmons has an entire mental breakdown self esteem and ability wise. Jimmy Buckets forced a trade out of the 76ers and a team player version of James Harden couldn't even get them to the conference finals. We need less people blaming other's for their personal weaknesses in the NBA. Most of these teams are focusing on building a team of champions as opposed to building a champion team.

He’s great in the regular season but not a team player and when he doesn’t get his soft ass foul calls he crumbles. I’d take Giannis or Jokic to lead a team over Embiid any day! True leaders PPG doesn’t matter if you can’t win in the playoffs

PLAYMAKING ?? LAST TIME I CHECK JORDAN IS BESTV SCORER IN NBA EVERYONE CALL HIM GOAT NOT JOHN STOCKTON. ARE U DERANGED ?? PASING IS NOT MATTER. JOKIC HAVE SUPERTEAM. EMBIID CANT PASS TO HARDEN GUY SCORE 9 PTS MURRAY SCORE 33 PER GAME VS LAKERS

@@PIP...33 I agree all ppl knows Jordan is GOAT because he score 33 ppg . No one call Stockton GOAT because he can pass better. Embiid just have too old players Jokic have superteam prime players. And he cannot be triple teamed ppl leave Harden open because he scores 9 points. No one leaves Porter, Murray and champion Pope open.

@@PIP...33 perfect comment mate. John Stockton best passer in history but ppl call Jordan GOAT who never develop passing. Most smartest thing I have read. Bravo Embiid is better than Jokic its just happen that Jokic have superteam and prime & young players. Thats why Embiid cant score in post season triple team because Harden cant shoot only Maxey shoots better and Tobias PJ Niang piled bricks. Embiid pass nice u know how he dime to harden when triple teamed in Boston. If Harden can score more than 9 pts on triple team Embiid passing him outside, then triple team will never come. Jokic was never triple teamed.

The way he plays, is only hero ball. No movement, no pick and roll but iso. If James Harden can’t make it in his prime, I don’t think Joel could make it. Now Nick Nurse is there, I will guarantee they will reach East final in next season.
