It’s so upsetting that Brooke’s murderer gets an entire professionally done documentary, and Brooke’s family has to tell her story on cell phones in their own home and relive the trauma. Shame on Hulu.

Good for her for referring to him as ‘the killer’ through the entire interview process. It’s true, not even alleged. I think it makes a powerful statement, taking away his entire identity.

Him hiding in her closet naked saying “shhhhhh” with a finger up to his lips is absolutely TERRIFYING. Even if he was a lifelong friend. I would be soo scared.

My thing is.... they lived together/ spent years together with no violent sleepwalking instances but the day she's gonna leave suddenly this happens??? Nahhhh .... he deserves to rot. I'm so sorry for Brooke's family to having to be going through this with hulu. Absolutely disgusting

I remember signing the petition to prevent this documentary from being made back when the family still thought there was a chance they could stop it. Shame on Hulu for going through with it without the blessing of the family, and for making it all about the killer and not about the victim's life.

He wasn’t asleep. Jealousy is a strong emotion and he acted on it. May Brooke’s family heal from this reckless act.

The fact that he remembers giving Brooke the shirt, hugging her, and telling her goodbye proves he wasn’t asleep during that interaction. Then he somehow immediately fell asleep after she left his room and entered a state of sleep deep enough to sleepwalk. Also, how convenient that he stayed asleep while brutally murdering someone who would have fought back and cut himself in the process only to wake up directly after. All while having no other incidents of sleepwalking around this time. Sure.

My good friend from high school was murdered in 1999 here in Saco Maine. She was 15 years old her name was Ashley Oullette. There was a "True Crime Daily" episode on KZread about her. Her killer still walks around free here Southern Maine. His name is Dan Sanborn. Cops claim there is not enough evidence. If you Google her name you'll find a bunch of articles on her. Her mother and sister deserve justice. This case is also linked to the disappearance of Tony Torres of Biddeford Maine. She was last person to see Ashley before she was raped and strangled and left dead in the middle of the road. Please consider this case. It's been 23 years since she was murdered. She was murdered February 1999.

He obviously tried to make a move on her again which was his motive for her coming to get this tshirt. He was denied and still drunk and killed her. Poor girl my heart goes out to her family

It breaks my heart to hear she still invited him out after finding him naked in the closet creeping on her. Just shows you how she wanted to understand everyone. Truly disturbing. She rejected him and he murdered her for it. Should be simple as that.

It’s disgusting that a company, like Hulu, didn’t even get the family’s permission to make this documentary. The family was basically only told that ‘hey we’re making a documentary about your daughter’s murder and you can’t stop us.’ Absolutely sick. I hope everyone in that family will finally get the chance to heal.
