I've driven that road from Burke, Wanaring, Tippa, in the exact same conditions. The local cops made sure our convoy had enough provisions to survive a bogging, then closed the roads behind us. They contacted the Tippa cops and told them to expect 3 vehicles, and anyone after that, fine them for driving on closed roads hahaha. Legendary people out there.

If the base is solid (looked like it was in this case), you'd be better off with road pressures so your tires cut through the sloppy stuff on top into the hard base underneath. Just don't wander off too much off the centerline though, especially if the road/track is cambered because you'll slide off really easily and it'll be a bugger to correct once she starts going. You'll pretty much become a passenger in a very expensive toboggan once traction lets go totally on greasy, sloppy tracks.

Exactly this. There is a reason local communities close these types of roads in the wet. To stop people on overloaded vehicles like this destroying their vital infrastructure. There is no good reason for them to continue on this road, they aren't trucking needed supplies or on an emergency call. It's very selfish and narrow minded.

Im not sure how you would do it, but my suggestion for this rig is to look into Snow Runner video game mods. There's a KZreadr that goes by the name of TC9700Gaming, so you could see what Snow Runner is about. It would be epic if your 6x6 ends up in the game. Hell, see if any of your rigs could be considered for Forza, and future updates for Snow Runner & Mud Runner. Awesome build guys. I would love to see how this truck would do in a Head 2 Head with SparksCo. 6x6. That would make for some great TV!!!!

On a 6wd if you have all of your lockers in you have no steering. Even if you only have the back axles engaged, if theyre locked you have no steering. Ask anyone who's driven an 18 wheeler. I learned the hard way years ago getting stuck on a lease road with this same exact type of mud. I could go forward and back but couldn't steer. Old fella stopped and told me unlock the diffs but keep the power two axles locked. Just like that I was able to steer. Best bet would have been to put it in 6wd but keep the rear diffs unlocked if you want to be able to steer
