Can copy the great combo, but cannot copy the unique tagout. Makes perfect sense.

Lol the last bit of the video is what I wish I could've said as a Mokujin main when I was a kid. "I've spent countless hours in training mode with Mokujin and trying to find new tech." Mokujin main supremacy.

Finally I found a gigachad Mokujin main.

There was an input with Devil and Kazuya in Tekken Tag Tournament where using UB 5 (delayed jump + tag button) will just do a regular swap where Devil and Kazuya just run away to tag out instead of transforming.

You're right, and Mokujin can also do the devil transformation tag if he was Kazuya and partnered with Devil in Tag 1 but can't do it in Tag 2 if partnered with either Jimmys for some reason.

Guys... Have you ever asked yourself that... Is mokujin the strongest character in the game? Because, he literally can imitate any character (except a few)

Once you've played with all the characters and you feel bored, Mokujin is here for you, i really like this character, the only Tekken game i've played and still own is Tekken 3D Prime Edition on the 3DS and i got almost all roster in rogue rank (except Murdok which is Juggernaut rank since he's my main, along with other which are in Brawler rank, Kazuya, Lei Wulong, Bryan Fury and Eddy Gordo), i've played Tekken with my brother on his PS3 some years ago (2017 i think) and demolished him since it was during the time he offered me this game for my birthday and i had a lot of free time to play during recess in high school! (I have 26 characters in Rogue or higher rank, the 15 other character are between beginner to 3rd Kyu)

Mokujin will always be one of the funnest characters to play as in Tekken

Never knew he could do the tag throws, does that mean that in certain teams you can guarantee the moveset he will have in some scenarios, could be useful

No I believe he means that Mokujin can do a special tag throw with another character IF Mokujin randomly happened to get the moveset of the correct character

i wished they brought back Mokujin for Tekken 7, it felt weird not having them in there. fingers crossed for T8 or whatever namco does with the series next that hopefully isn't another season for 7

I think its because he's not in it is because of the rage arts, I saw this guy made Akuma do all of the rage arts, and his face or his body is always disoriented, I think thats why tho, I could be wrong.

@@Adam7180 Oh, what's wrong with the rage arts, exactly? Is it the camera angles? Because I've seen mods for female characters for example where the moves are swapped and the models are not distorted. I don't think it's an issue of models anymore. Camera angles are the only issue I could think of.

My money was on Unknown or another Mokujin figured he couldn't copy the moves of a character who can only copy moves.

I have been playing Tekken Tag 2 since 2014 but I’ve never really known this given I don’t play Mokujin (only learned how to distinguish characters because of him). After watching this I’m wondering… can Mokujin do the tag throw from Unknown to Jun (the one where Unknown suspends the opponent midair and then switched to shun to deal the final blow)?

What happens if you have 2 Mokujin one coded/copying Jin the other coded/copying Devil Jin instead of have Mokujin (Jin/Devil Jin) with Jin or with Devil Jin

Seriously don't understand why Mokujin isn't in Tekken 7. Maybe they'd have trouble with compatibility once DLC characters are thrown into the mix, but otherwise all they'd have to do is modeling. The animations are already done for him.

I'm sure they could make it work. I mean look at Kirby in Smash Ultimate for example. I know it's entirely different software and hardware but who knows? Maybe in Tekken 8

I don't know why he isn't in Tekken 7 either and DLC can't be an excuse because in Tag 2 Angel, Tiger, Ogre, Bosconovitch, and so on were DLC characters in Tag 2. Maybe lore reasons is an excuse since Mokujin only awakens when a great evil awakens and a family feud isn't a ancient evil. Or Namco just didn't want to make him.

@@TheGobbo That's true, but they got around that in Tekken 4 with Combot, so they probably could've done something similar here. Maybe Bandai Namco just didn't want to do any roulette characters after so many people complained about Soul Calibur V...

There's no Jun df+1+2 to Unknown. There's only Unknown's df+1+2 to Jun. But since Mokujin cannot copy Unknown he can't do that throw.

Yes if Mokujin is Jun and he is partnered with Unknown she can do the special df1+2,5 tag throw. The animation is kind of goofy seeing Unknown turn into the larger Mokujin.

I remembered that mokujin cant copy Gon moves set. Or was I mistaken?

No he can't, in Tekken 3 he couldn't copy the Ogres, Gon, Bosconovitch, or Anna. In TTT1 he couldn't copy the Ogres, and on the console version he can't copy Devil or Roger. In Tag 2 he can copy everybody except Unknown.

Hmmm in TT1 Mokujin couldn’t copy true orge or orge if I’m not mistaken. Also in tekken 3 he couldn’t be gon or Dr.B

You're right. In Tekken 3 he couldn't copy the Ogres, Gon, Bosconovitch, or Anna. In TTT1 he couldn't copy the Ogres, and on the console version he can't copy Devil or Roger. In Tag 2 he can copy everybody except Unknown.

Mokujin also can't copy true ogres and jacks extended limbs

Yes Mokujin can do the dance but it's inferior because he doesn't scream "WOO!" due to the fact Mokujin doesn't have a mouth and he cannot scream.

The thing is, Combot is based on customization instead of RNG. You could pretty much make a broken Combot and use it to destroy people online.

I'm not referring to the power stance, Jin can do that by himself. I am referring to the special Omen stance that can be accessed from the power stance if paired with a Mishima and inputting b1+2,1,4. In case the video wasn't clear enough on that.

Here's hoping tekken 8 is anywhere near as good looking as ttt2 and has all the classic characters day one instead of after 50 seasons. Tekken 7 looks like dogshit lol, no love in any of the maps, just looks like a basic ass tekken with modern shaders. It did well tho so tekken 8 better be a return to form and be a good love filled tekken like tekken 4,5,6 and ttt2
