For those who are interested: she got 6 years and could leave prison after serving 3. The murderer of her daughter died instantly (7 of 8 bullets fired entered his body). After prison she spent some years living in Nigeria and Italy. Getting the diagnosis of terminal cancer she returned to Germany where she died. She shares a grave with her daughter. Her baby was right next to her protecting her too in spirit. What that man did was unforgivable.

The look on her face is heartbreaking, but I can sympathize. In the past 3yrs I lost my oldest son (24) to suicide and oldest daughter (28) to heart failure. Also my oldest brother from acid fumes and my mom to leukemia. This past Dec. 27th. Makes you feel numb and nearly dead inside.

This is not footage from the courthouse, this is a film scene from the film "Der Fall Bachmeier - Keine Zeit für Tränen" (The case Bachmeier - No time for tears). The actress playing Marianne Bachmeier is Marie Colbin (they changed all the names in the film though but if you're interested you can look up for more details yourself)

This lady was a hero. I can't imagine the pain she felt knowing what her daughter went through 😔

I was living in Germany at the time. The People supported her and her sentence was really short. About a year. Even now I have never forgotten her name. A mother who made sure she got the right justice for her child.

Crazy the dad that murdered the pedo live on TV in 1984 got a suspended sentence. The dad that tried to attack nasser also ended up not getting jail time. The judge changed her mind in under 30 mins. So sad she was treated so differently. No punishment can be worse than losing a child. Every time I see this story, I think about how she must have felt finding out that even though his son was still alive, he still got a suspended sentence. I'm NOT saying his child was not traumatized, just pointing out her child was R-ed and murdered but she still had to rot in a jail.

Not really. The rapist didn’t get raped as a child with a huge adult penis, having her developing childish inner parts totally ruptured, her emotions taken to terror and panic, her pain overwhelming, her life taken by perverted and violent lust, never to laugh, play, dream, love again. There is no comparison in between her death and his. This is not an eye for an eye.

Sigh…the whole mama bear thing is overdone. I don’t mean to be hating but it is. Female bears have nothing to do with humans. They protect cubs themselves which is opposite of people. They can and will abandon them if need be. They will also mate with a male that kills their cubs. They’ve even been known to consume their own cubs if they need to. They care far less about their own children then humans do. Females can have 15 or more during their lifetime. Any individual isn’t that important as they often breed again every 2-3 years and can live to twenty or more.

She was sentenced to 6 years but was paroled after 3 years. She passed away from cancer in 1996 and was buried next to her daughter. May they rest in peace 🕯🕊

I can feel her pain, she kept pulling the trigger even when It was empty. That day, she was able to release her pain back to him, fornwhat he did. #RipMotherAndDaughter

Well thhe mother didn't feel like her child got justice. So she took justice into her own hand since the justice system wasn't just & it has failed her & her child. But alot of people doesn't know this or some how forgot about it That it stated by law if the cop/ judge wouldn't, couldn't nor doesn't held Criminals accountable as just. Than the people have ever right to take justice into our own hands. So yeah the judge probably let the raper/ murderer go on bail or he some how have a ple- deal for not to serve time 🙄😒🤦‍♂️ Hell anything could happen especially back in those days. Alot of murders especially white people do get out all because the police officers claim their didn't have enough evidence 🤔. Yeah that was used alot in the 1970's & 90's. If we all have done our homework and know ours history oh yeah alot of murderers got released back then.

The novella you wrote is a bunch of bullshit. I grew up in the 1970’s and the judicial system was letting murders out on bail or murders free without prosecution. Besides, each state has their own laws and their own prescribed punishments; like some states have the death penalty others do not. Are you aware this took place in Germany?

Let this be a warning to anyone who thinks of harming children…. This would be my exact response if anyone tries to mess with my children. This mom has my utmost respect and sympathy for her loss, may they both rest in peace together.
