Hi can you give me the full size of this lens with the two caps ? I can’t find the full size with them … And why you didn’t choose the ef version ? In second hand it can be a good opportunity no ?

Sure! It's 15 cm long give or take - with the back and front caps on. In terms of EF lenses, I'm sure the EF version of this one is good, but I simply don't want to buy into an old lens system anymore. It just doesn't make sense to me. If you make such an investment already, I think it's best to go for what will last for the next couple decades :-)

hi, i have a good opportunity on the canon r6 mark II, but I have to sell my r7 and my sigma 18-35 for having the r7 with the r6 mark II and the kit lense 24-105 f4-7.1, is it worth ?

Well… it depends what you want to do with it. If you’re earning money with photography or video, the R6 II is the better choice. It’s a step up from the R7, as it’s full frame, and more future proofed. The R7 is really good for video though, especially with that Sigma lens. Do you need the full frame? Also, if you end up getting the R6 II, I wouldn’t get that kit lens… just get the body only and use the savings towards a better lens. All in all, if you’re serious about your photo/video as a profession, the R6 II is the better choice. Hope this helps!

@@coppensbram I shoot portrait, and I begun to use the video mode… but I would like to do landscape and lifestyle photo, night photography… I’m not professional but I love shoot, I had intention to buy it in 2 years but now I have a good opportunity, should I buy it ? (I can have the r6 mark 2 with the kit at 2300euros)

That’s a very good deal hehe! Well… it’s really up to you, I can’t decide for you 😊 But that said… I love my R6 II, best camera I ever had. The R7 is only used as a b-cam now. You won’t regret getting one!

Man, this weekend I bought Tamron 24-70 f2.8 🤣🤣🤣 And now my wife use my R6 mark 2 instead of her R7 🤣🤣🤣 Nice video! Good luck!

@@coppensbram I m still awaiting 11th May to check if they will introduce R5 mk2 😂😂😂yesterday i got the lens from a shop. Colors are really amazing. Autofocus is not so noise as Sigma 18-35. I gave back Sigma, and bought Tamron. Sigma did not work for me cause it lost focus from time to time and becuase i decided to swith from r7 to r6 mk2 and leave r7 to the wife. It requires to keep attention on focus constantly. And for my job it is not a solution. Autofocus really quick on Tamron. It is not so strong on f2.8 as your canon lens, but is cost twice less :) it also has light vignette on edge on f2.8 only. Beside this they are mostly identical.

Yeah that Sigma is quite loud isn’t it! 😂 I’ve seen rumors that R5 II will only be for 2024… although I think it will still be this year! Not sure if I’ll go for it though… the R6 II has everything I need. But I guess 4k 120 would be nice 😂

@@coppensbram When I heard focus of Sigma, the sound was similar to the sound of old HDD in computer🤣🤣🤣 There are so many rumours. They say R1 will be on May 15, another one say R5 mk 2 will be in 2024. 🤣 Though I guess such machine as r5 should be bought to work at least 10 years if person is amateur as me 😃😃😃 Prev photo we had Canon 70D, And we bought them exactly 10 years ago 🥳🥳🥳

@@edon2005 Haha yup... the old HDD sound. The problem with technology nowadays is, that it evolves soooo quick... it's tough keeping the same tools for 5+ years hehe. I had a 60D, then M6 II, R7 and now R6 II. But yeah... let's see what will be announced (although I think it will be just a vlogging cam)!
