First of all, Thank you for making this channel. I have been thinking of getting into the IR program at the extension school. Do you have any information regarding that program? or Do you know anyone in that program that I might be able to get in contact with? I am a Cal Berkeley Grad and want to get my Masters in International Relations. Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Hey! Thanks so much for watching and for the comment... I really appreciate it! Unfortunately I have absolutely no information about the IR program and do not know anybody in the program. I know a few people who got a business degree from the extension school, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. The premedical program classes are all in the science building, so most of the people I ran into were either science majors or other premedical students :/. What kind of info are you seeking? Have you tried reaching out to program faculty yet? I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance :/

@@medicalmillennial5807 Again thank you for the upload. I did reach out before the beginning of the end of the world....lol and spoke to someone on the phone. But it was very general. I am looking for some who has actually been/is in the program. My questions are : how much work per week was given; how long did they take doing it? Did they end up seeking financial add and if so how was that existence; how much we they allotted? I wonder if there might be someone in the alumni group (s) who might be or have been in the IR program? I am grateful for any guidance you might be able to provide. And if not, it's also ok. Thank you for taking the time to care about people and for going back to school to save people's lives in this weird and dangerous time. It means a lot!

@@Ace_Of_Bace If course! My pleasure. Haha, I figured you probably reached out already, but figured I'd ask. Wondering if you've checked on the HES Reddit page? Might be some useful info there. And yeah those are all great questions and would be super helpful to know. I wish I could help, but like I said, i can really only speak to the premedical program :/. But hey maybe someone will see this comment and jump in! I'm surprised they don't have that info on the website. Would you like me to answer those questions in relation to the premedical program? Happy to answers any and all questions! and wow, what a nice compliment. Thanks so much! I really appreciate that :D. Just glad to know that others are finding these videos helpful!

@@medicalmillennial5807Was there any one person whom you knew and is still there that might be there who could help with these questions? (staff or advisor) Regarding your experience, any and all information would be great - how they relate to different programs, I would not know. Thank you, for answering.

I'm sorry my friend, but unfortunately there isn't anyone I ever knew that would be able to answer these questions. All of my acquaintances were either fellow premedical students or science majors. In terms of my personal experience in the premedical program, it was a lot of work. I studied for probably 35 hours a week on average. As far as financial aid goes, it was offered to me - enough to completely pay for the program. I was under the impression that any official degree or certificate program would allow access to financial aid, but I'm not 100% certain. If you want more details about my experience in the program specifically, I made 2 other videos about Harvard! Not sure if you've checked them out or not, but maybe you will find some helpful in there!

Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment! I dont remember exactly, but probably 5-10 minutes that used to go back and check over answers that I felt uncertain about. Have you taken the test yet?

Gotcha. Yeah I literally made flash cards of every single UWorld term and studied them like crazy. I went through every single practice problem. Do you have a sense of where you need to improve?
