5-7-8 pattern lolol Forgot the 3-5-7 pattern and the 1-3-5-8 one. Then you got every metalcore song ever written.

I like that diminished runs can actually be considered a stereotype in metalCore and metal in general, because the rest of music just seemed to forget that they were even a thing at all.

The harmony riff. I wrote this 5-7-8 harmony riff and it sort of sounded like unholy confessions but it was fun to jam out with.

If there was a band that had deathcore breakdowns. Mixture of Metalcore, Djent, Thrash riffs and a vocalist with nice cleans and did normal fry and false chords plus other techniques that bands like infant annihilator do... Wow...

Haha finally a video of a a conversation I have all the time. I’ve been teaching myself djent for like a year but I always stop and say I mean I can play metal core, so begins the 5,7,8 riffs. But then I add,”that’s not what I’m trying to do haha. Good job guys loved it!!
