my take is the marks are for missions and battles, he was in A LOT so the tallies added up over time. it’s akin to real world battle stars or campaign medals earned by ships, units, and individual soldiers

I don't think those were kill marks on his armor. I think they were brothers he'd lost, or times he felt he should have died. Maybe both depending on where he put the mark

For a long time I thought that the clone wars series was abandoned. I still remember watching after school my first episode where Yoda with a small group of clones prove Toydarian king was right about joining the republic. Not so long ago I've finished watching the final seasons. Still my favourite star wars title, they filled the gap between trilogies quite well indeed.

@@thechillcactus4042 My apologies then. I thought you were just bashing others like Star Wars Theory. Though I do appreciate those who focus more on Legends (True Star Wars) content than Disney Canon.

Both Luke Skywalker and Rex complained about the Stormtrooper helmet. Luke said he couldn't see anything, and Rex pretty much said the same thing. I do have a cheap Stormtrooper helmet replica, and yeah, you can't see much at all. Despite all that tech Stormtrooper helmets has, like being linked with the blasters, but when you can't see anything, while being cannon fodder, as George Lucas said Stormtroopers are, he at least implies that, it's not hard to see why clones were so superior. Jedi and Sith are better than clones, but then, they have an advantage called the force, and clones are superior to Stormtroopers and most droids

Droid count only for green clones. Cause you leterally kill them in thousands. Succesfull missions and compains on other hand, especially with gregor. RCommando squad is 4 man, I dont beleve he lost so many people when he has much more markings, at least on his helmet. And with how he is special forces I beleve he has more sweft missions, while Rex stuck in long war campains most of the time.

4:29 I call BS until I hear a LEGENDS source say the same thing, because everything I heard in Legends said Stormtrooper armor was MUCH better at absorbing blaster-fire than both phases of Clone armor. Rebels is Disney BS, so of course they wouldn't have done their research on the existing lore.

I don’t know why people think Rex is the most famous clone. I like Rex, but I think commander Cody was the most important and most famous. We actually seen him in the movie never ever will see Rex inside of real movie, Cody.
