The speedrun at 4:23 was played on the Infinity snapshot version of Minecraft where you can just throw a book and quill that has been written in into the nether portal and it will normally take you to a random dimension however if you type certain words it will take you to a specific dimension such as the literal end dimension.

So, the second person was playing 20w14∞ which is an April Fools update with infinite randomly generated dimensions you get to by throwing written books into portals. People managed to reverse engineer the algorithm and find the exact written book needed to get a portal to the end which is what the speedrunner did.

@pewpew1369 That's not possible since throwing books into the portal just changed the dimension it takes you to. They would have to code a new block that gives you ender pearls and there is no block in the code that can do that other than a command block which exists outside the version.

@@waitingfortheequinnox I looked it up and 4 hours and 3 minutes seems to be the world record. Or was it 4.03 minutes? I don't know how speedrun timers work. Edit: I rewatched the video talking about it and it was 4 minutes and 3 seconds. The only established category for the snapshot is random seed glitchless so that is pretty fast.

Honestly can't decide what I like better with these videos, the ones where the host picks apart minute details in seemingly-legitimate speedruns, or the ones where the speedrunner pulls out bazookas.

That last one at 8:21 looks like Teardown, but I'm not familiar with any of the custom levels and whatnot that are in the workshop. Haven't beaten it yet, so I cannot confirm whether there are dinosaurs in the main game, but that seems highly improbable unless the story makes a right angle turn for the weird at some point.

@@typhoonsix777 I know its mods, I said that I'm not familiar with Teardown's workshop - the minecraft stuff made that quite obvious, I only stated that I'm not sure about the dinosaurs because I haven't beaten the game so I have no idea if they come out of left field somehow. The only thing that I know about Teardown's later levels is that there are security robots, so I didn't want to assume that there wasn't a Jurassic Park parody somewhere.

I spend hours searching the internet, and I’m very picky. Most of the Speedruns I find are boring and it’s just the player immediately finding netherite armor and one shifting the dragon

at this point, i'm suspecting that the pre-existence of some of these fake speedruns is also being faked

What I'm about to say is completely serious: When I see that you uploaded a video i smile and forget about everything, and watch it because I've always enjoyed them, and for the rest of the day even if I'm sad, I remember the funny parts of the video and laugh which makes my day better.❤❤❤ Keep going! ❤❤❤ :)

7:28 If I were to fake a Minecraft Speedrun, I would do something like this, but I wouldn't bother with the Nether at all. Just drop into the End Portal, Ender Dragon already dead, and I'm done in one second.

In the third speedrun (from 07:35), the speedrunner is using a datapack.

I've made a fake speedrun before, and I "accidentally" got stuck underground, in a dragon breath cloud, chugging gaps 😅

The second speed run was done in the infinite dimensions snapshot for April fools where if you threw a book and quill with certain letters or numbers it into a nether portal it would bring you to new dimensions

the abatised redivides book was actually part of an official minecraft april fools update where if you threw a book and quill with any typing inside it would take you to a completely new randomly generated dimension. however specific phrases in the book can take you to particular dimensions. abatised redivides takes you to the end.

The reason why that booking quill brought him to the end is because he was playing on a specific April full snapshot which will allow people to go to infinite amount of dimensions just by typing something in a book he just knew the specific typing one to get to the end

I love how the 4k rtx of the mech suit ender dragon fight just shows gameplay of Armored core 6. The second is in the 20winfinite snapshot and the final speedrun was in teardown.

The words in the book and quill in the 2nd speedrun are words that active an end portal dimension (apparently) in the infinity April fools snapshot, that guy didn’t use any mods

So, the minecart nuke is actually a real thing you can do. You can continuously place TNT minecarts on a single rail and set them all off at once. It creates a massive explosion that is equal to the number of TNT minecarts you placed.
