On this trip we visited major cities and attractions in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, drove to Belgrade in Serbia, Budapest in Hungary, Vienna and Salzburg in Austria and Munich in Germany. Ljubljana, Piran, Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Mostar, Sarajevo are major cities. Lake Bled, Triglave National Park, Boka Falls, Napoleon Bridge, Postojna Cave, Tartini Square, Preseren Square, Ljubljana Castle, Plitvice Lakes National Park- the Heaven Garden of Europe. Diocletian's Palace, see statue of Grgur Ninski, see Dubrovnik Old town, Pocitelj old town, Mostar, Sarajevo Old Town, Later visit open air museum "Battle for Wounded" and destroyed bridge over Neretva which is the most important symbol of the Jablanica, Latin Bridge where the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie Gazi-Husrev Beg's Bezistan was taking place which triggered World War one.

    One story about the dragons. Dragon is a simbol of Ljubljana. There is a long story about it. There is a Dragon Bridge and four dragons are guarding it. According to a local legend, when a virgin crosses the bridge, the dragon wags his tail. It hasn't happened in recorded history.....

    Yes, our guide told the story about the dragon you just mentioned, but I was focusing on the video filming and didn't hear much. Any story will make a place more interesting to visit. Thanks for sharing!
