I love Uniqlo however their sizing inconsistency is a pervasive problem. I wear anything from an XS to a M with their clothing and can never know what to expect. They charge both ways for shipping. I would suggest looking up the numerical/actual sizing for their items. Like the measurement of the sleeve length, width, inseam, etc. if you know what measurements look good on you, you can narrow it down that way. Each item will have that information for their sizes, and I’ve seen shirts vary from 22 inches wide for oxfords to 24 for linen. Their website will pull comparable last purchases and you can anticipate sizing that way to reduce returns. There’s always some guessing based on material properties and stretch but I’ve really nailed down certain sizes I can rely on.

t @WiiAllTheWayHome Some do and some don't. They have an auto size feature where you put in your height and weight, but I get the same inconsistent results. They do have this new feature I haven't yet tried where you take a photo of yourself and upload it. I can give it a try, but I have my doubts. Like many retailers these days they source from a very wide variety of constantly changing manufacturers. The problem isn't unique to them, but a v-neck sweater and a crew neck sweater in the same series for example have significantly different dimensions in the same sizes. Fit is king and baggy or too tight is a constant issue.

Besides LL Bean sweaters, they offer very good OCBDs, corduroy and chinos pants. I’ve known about them for years, so it’s hard to understand how they have escaped the classic menswear eye. One aspect of Bill’s Khakis that is worth mentioning - they leave quite a bit of fabric along the seams, so a tailor can do quite a bit to adjust the pants should you put on a bit of weight. They also will do made to order for customers, though you have to go through a retailer that carries their brand in the store.

I've been a Lands' End customer for decades, but in recent years they've been limiting options, and they've developed some odd ideas about sizing. To quote an email from their customer service, "The item if ordered in a 32, will not be a 32-inch measurement as it would be too tight for the person who would be wearing the item. The size would be increased by one and a quarter inch with a factor of plus or minus .5 inches. The size 40 that you have ordered would measure 41.25 inches (+/- the .5 inch)." My 40s were a full 42 in. This has happened a couple of times, so IMO it's some combination of odd thinking and lax QC.

I would like to also mention Intimissimi Uomo, witch create really nice linen and pijamas

My favored brand for undergarments
sensational video.
I just ordered three L. L. Bean sweater vests from eBay, at fantastic savings. I plan to wear them under tweed sport coats, for added warmth as needed seasonally, without the bulk of sweater sleeves inside the coat sleeves. Meanwhile, I had a lot of Land's End pieces in my wardrobe for decades now: dependable, classic, smart -- and they've worn quite well.
I am surprised you don't mention MTM companies. As a hard to fit guy I have been surprised to find MTM shirts, pants, jackets cost effective to some of the off the rack brands mentioned here and all to your measurements and preferences.
I have a lands end pair of double pleated chinos that I got this year. They are awesome. 100% cotton.
The 'Harrington' jacket offered by Murray’s Toggery Shop is in fact the Baracuta G9 Jacket made in the UK. Nice jacket but at $450 is hardly a good value for a cloth jacket. Lands End used to offer a very well made Harrington knock-off for less than $100 but they discontinued it for some reason :(.

Check out real Hoxton they make a higher quality Harrington at an affordable price. Your welcome.
For the algo. Trifecta. Subbed & liked. Never heard of you or saw you show up in my feed, but it looks good already. We do mostly (90%) menswear, on feeBay & Pish.
Eddie Bauer makes one of my favorite dress shirts and they come in tall sizes😊👍
I really admire "Fynch-Hatton". Its Polos and Knitwear come in many Variations and are still affordable for a smaller Budget.
have you ever done a video on aran sweaters?
In Germany, we have a few Uniqlo stores and I indeed appreciate the quality and looks of some of their pieces, e.g. their (Merino) wool sweaters. However, they also have stuff of inacceptable quality.
My grandparents (and me through exposure and inheritance) always loved Land’s End, I wore some of their 80s era blue oxford shirts in school, but their recent examples have been lacking. Lots of stubby collars and poly mixed in.
Oh no he did not refer to the UHB! I first heard that term in the movie “Metropolitan.” The so-called Urban Haute Bourgeoisie. Insert MAJOR EYE ROLL HERE!
I really like the Italian brand Doppelganger! Do you know them?
Hello gentleman's Gazzette, I would like you to make a video about Dickies brand clothes.

I don't know if Tomaz is out there in the west because for me I kind of like their blazers I don't know if it possible for you all do a video about them
Just be aware that the shipping at Baturina is astronomical. As in $51 to ship to the US.
Overland, its another underrated brand, their leather jackets are stunning, i have two of them.
Can GG make a video review for ivy company J. Press please
the only one I recognise is uniqlo, which I am going to guess is the only brand here that's available near me (unless the others are and I haven't looked hard enough) I haven't bought uniqlo yet and I've heard good things about it edit: oh I have never heard of kit Blake, will have to check their stuff out
Where is the intro!? I noticed it in the last few video’s and I thought it was a mistake. I miss it already 😢
Lonely Island making a guest appearance I see haha
If looking for affordable brands I also like Arket a lot
I think stripes ❤❤❤
Still waiting for the boots tier list.
Levis is also good
MORE KYLE!!!!
In my opinión you aré the one who dress the Best out of the three
Ralphael has any of these brands.
Nine line apparel (Jason Blaha)

I’d love to see y’all do a video on Banana Republic’s rebrand. I think menswear enthusiasts have dismissed them for years and for good reason. They were a boring and behind the times retailer. But the stuff their putting out now is actually pretty great.
👍
Short sleeved button up shirts are dreadful
Does anybody know the off the rack trouser brand like Kit Blake that he mentioned, but in EU. If I order from UK to Croatia it's very expensive because of VAT.

I'd look into the offerings of Pini Parma, Scavini as well as Poszetka - all of them are EU based :)

Everytime someone brings up john varvatos i think of the chrysler 300 john varvatos edition (its actually the best looking one in my opinion)
Very helpful video. The presenter needs more tone and he comes across as very boring
£286 for high street trousers?
who wrote the script for this? Aero doesn't use cordovan leather for their jackets? Cordovan can't be used for jackets. Aero use a lot of chromexcel, and one color they offer for chromexcel is cordovan, which is just burgundy. The cordovan leather this video is talking about can only mean shell cordovan, no panels of shell cordovan is going to be big enough for making jackets.

Great point! Unless they are farming giant horses, ya know, somewhere in Saskatchewan where nobody will know....
yo first one pin please!!
Oh, there's no PREPPY in the title. Bean has gotten a bit hot-miss with Prep style but they are still maybe the most affordable for certain items. I don't know how much Preppy flannel is currently, that which is debatable, blah, blah.

OK, but leather jackets aren't really Preppy, so I guess that's not quite the underlying theme instead of just some mushy blanket term "classic" again.

Unless I'm flying a mission over Europe in 1943, I'm probably NEVER wearing a tie with a leather jacket.

...and yes, jeans are "classic" but they are hardly PREPPY.
Duck Head
L.L.Bean is a company I wouldn't throw an empty $0.05 returnable can at. The owner supports Trumpian ridiculous ideas and donated lots of money to his campaigns.
this channel gotta get with the times the styling is kinda dated. this aint the 50s
