Try it even with just those 5in1 reflectors :)
Coco looked very comfortable modelling for you in this video. She did extremely well. That scrim provided light that was flattering and you demonstrated various adjustments effectively. Bravo. If I had a studio the scrim might well be a better and more flexible solution than a roomfull of soft boxes. I really liked the low key examples, as they were not expected. Another winning video!

Yes and no. It’s a lot harder to control the directionality of a scrim compared to a softbox. Afaik there is only one scrim on the market that has a grid available.
Thanks again for a great tutorial.

Your insane crazy as a photographer for fifty years i have to run and shoot Insanity
Great results! What I really surprise me was how scrim was able to diffuse such a strong spot light through the scrim. Does the scrim would be able to handle a much strong spot light like one of a Forza 300 or even a 500?
Great, thank you for sharing. Well informed

Yeah there are a lot of cheaper options like the ones from westcott, unfortunately I don’t have access to their products here in manila. I would assume these work perfectly for you when you do your still life/product photos

your bride is a model isnt she. absolutely comfortable in front of the camera, knows which way to turn, HOW MUCH to turn, and of course beautiful as well... now, on the video, i have a 5-1 but its a bit unwieldy without an assistant and i have a 1.5x2 m sheet of diffusion material im building a pvc pipe frame for. i like this set up and the results a lot! thanks

Great results. Great video. I may have missed it, but was the nanlite at 100%? Second question: what did the average iso wind up being after the fact? People always say that the downside of continuous lighting is that you have to blind everyone in the room for it to be usefully bright. It seems you proved otherwise while getting fantastic results.
@JiggieAlejandrino

Yes it was at 100% end result was iso 100 most of the time, shutter speed even went up to 1/640 during the low keys portraits
