@@joeblow9126 Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan are messy in general. In about 10 years if they get a good leader I'd leave. USA is a train wreck rn so I'd be in Europe.

HEY Davud have you tried Navat and the navigator. I can recommend both for a good meal. Best steak in navigator. Are you still in Bishkek?
The Lenin statue was originally at the front of the State History Museum, but it was replaced by the Manas statue and moved to the less prominent position. There are still Lenin statues in many cities of Kyrgyzstan, including Osh and Karakol. I like that they haven't tried to systematically obliterate the soviet legacy, unlike other former soviet states.

If I were politician, I would vote for taking down everything connected with soviet union.

Most citizens of Kyrgyzstan do not like the statue of lenin. They would be glad to take it down someday in future.

@@WezaBeatz Why great? These statues are just standing there and have historical value for tourists. And tourists as this guy are visiting them. There are not many historic tourist attractions in Kyrgyzstan. Nobody is going to bring back the Soviet Union.

Ideology of Lenin is long gone. Nobody cares about Lenin anymore. Nobody is going to bring back the Soviet Union. These statues have historic value for tourists. It is a tourist attraction now. Breaking these statues will give you nothing.
