I didn''t notice

I was in Thailand in the early 1980’s…as a young man… and I told myself… I’m coming back here to retire…that place reminds me of what was here in the 1980’s…except the prices are a little higher…well I’m an older man now… and here I am…. Been retired here for 3 years now and loving life…my tastes have changed though.. I need a nice comfortable place to live… but no problem here in Thailand…they have something for everyone….have a good day mate…. Live life to the fullest….

I'm hoping to do the same...hopefully do a 2 week stay this October and look at some condos. If you had to choose from Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, or Pattaya...where would you live?

I'll be moving there soon, near the 89 market, converting an old shophouse. Can't wait. That was great with the parrot just hanging out.

Nong Hoi isn't far from the airport, might be a good place to stay for a few weeks. Also don't say Aroi Jing Jing to the girls, they look at you a bit funny until you explain they look Delicious.😁😇 Having a laundry close to a Massage establishment would be handy, get 2 loads fixed at the same time.

Not to far mate but, most place aint to far from the airport in the city. 🤣 Yep Laundry and a massage, perfect mate.

I live in the western foothills of Chiang Mai (the foothill road from Wat Umong to Wat Pong Noi) and I don't remember seeing any vlogs about the area. It's the new hip place. You should feature it! It's got lots of trees and hipster cafes and artsy places. It's really quite beautiful.

I use to really like going to the Umong hill area, I have a few vlogs on the area a few years back, but I've never done a full walking vlog there. Thanks for reminding me, I might do an update vlog soon. As you mentioned, some great Cafes in that area. I've noted it down for a vlog.

Next time go past Umong towards Rampoeng. Between Baan Kang Wat and Wat Pong Noi is a wonderful area.

Untouched area in the south still. Great area to get away from the rest of the norm part of the city. Good to have Leicester back in the prem. Loved seeing this guys passion. Cheers mate.

I live in Nong Hoi, not far from the first market you went to in this video, the stall on your left as you walked in - with the green tiles - is great for Khao Gaeng in the mornings - and the stall opposite her does my favourite Sai Ua in the city

Good tour and tips Wayne. A nice quiet and clean place for $120/mo would be a way for someone on a pension to bank up some coin and enjoy doing it.
