I don't know what KZread is expecting to accomplish by trying to push out extraordinary creators like EWU. Their videos are always so well researched, well produced, informative, educational (on many levels), thoughtful, respectful & considerate. They provide facts, details & explanations without conjecture, wild opinions & sensationalism. So I not only have more complete overall pictures of the cases they cover but I also have much deeper understandings of these situations in general, such as common motivating factors, warning signs, preventative measures, etcetera. Tbh, I've learned more from their videos than I have almost any other creator on this platform. And the substance of what I'm learning helps me in everyday life. EWU channels are truly an asset...to both viewers & KZread. If they get pushed off this platform by YT, it would be a shameful & profound loss! KZread - STOP BEING SO CLOSED-MINDED & HYPOCRITICAL!

@@deboramitevska9687 Exactly...reality is NOT family friendly. Trying to sugar-coat & ignore that bad things happen is dangerous & does nothing more than breed ignorance. Knowledge is power. If (& that's a BIG "if") YT wants so badly to be "family friendly" (which actually means "kid friendly"), why don't they just launch a separate *KZread KIDS* platform? And keep the regular YT platform as is (or as it used to be)? Would be nice if they'd stop treating us ALL like adolescents that THEY must supervise & control.🙄

I love that you include a red flags section where you explain what is *not* normal behaviour. I feel like it could really help people who get caught up in a bad situation to recognize it before it becomes worse. I know I'm more aware of my surroundings, people's actions and their behaviour because of the many videos I've watched on this channel 👌🏼

I tend to think that her child was getting SA from her too. I was SA when I was 8 years old, and I am enormously lucky to be alive, because I have come to realise as an adult, preditors tend to kill the child so that they don't talk. But here is the thing- your daughter is easier to control so that they won't talk. I don't know- perhaps the SA was about causing extra hurt and humiliation towards the little girl, because she hated her so much.

@Athena Good luck With your pregnancy! I LOVED it when my wife was pregnant. We have two grown children. A Daughter who is 28 and our Son is 25. I also miss them being young but at the same time I love where they are at now. When my wife was pregnant with our first child we made a decision to NEVER have child care so we decided to work separate sifts. It wasn't always easy but I also had some incredible fun. I absolutely loved the time I got alone with my kids when my wife was at work. I took the night shift and my wife worked days. I have always been a night person anyway so that worked out better for me. We kept them away from strangers and not once did we ever have a baby sitter for them. To this day our kids will talk about things we did together as a family but they still love the time they had alone with each of us. Especially in the summer when they had no school. I would take them to the beach after midnight and we would have a blast! Good luck to you. It is an awesome and amazing experience/journey and I am sure you will love it. Take Care!

I know it's not meant to be a exhaustive list. But Gaslighting is also a big red flag. My ex claimed I said or promised things I couldn't remember. Obviously you give them the benefit of the doubt and believe them. But these memory gaps only seemed to manifest in Relation to them, not with friends or other people in general. What helps is to have people you can trust, be they friends or professionals that can give you their opinion. Because it can be really hard to be objective in such situations.

About Becky’s story. I think, based off her brother’s history of preying on young girls and the fact that she thrived when hospitalized and removed from the home, something serious was going on. EDs and early sexual behavior (the nudes) are sometimes symptoms of s*xual abuse. I can’t believe no one stepped in and investigated. They would have seen, at the very least, a hoarder home, which is unfit for children, and she could have been saved. The system failed that poor girl. I hope her soul can find some peace.

The Cantu case was really tough to listen to when it came out. At that time I was a early learning teacher. My coworkers and I had a hard time with this one. The year before was the Casey Anthony case and trial. Which was equally difficult. Particularly, the outcome of that trial. We were so worried that she was going to get off on the Cantu case. The hardest thing for us was working with children, you're trying to wrap our heads around someone who looked normal, was a female, a care provider and a educator. And as you said almost no warning signs. I avoided hearing about this case for a long time. It's still tough to hear. My heart goes out to the families, friends, the community as well as the investigators. I can't even imagine the grief. Even to this day. I wanted to add as a side note. I really enjoy your content. I was in a toxic platonic relationship with a friend I had live with me for several years and I often thought about leaving while she was gone. Even talked to the apartment management about how it would work legally with our lease contract, but no matter what she would have had to give paperwork proving she would be able to pay the rent by herself and that would of meant I needed to talk to her about me leaving. Which wouldn't have played out well as she threatened suicide and trashed me to a mutual friend constantly. I had a co-signer so I couldn't just say fuck the lease either, as it would of wrecked the co-signer's credit. All and all a really shitty situation. Only a bit over a year ago did I find the courage to tell her I wanted to move away, and that was it's own nutty experience. Now I live in another continent.

Same here! And obviously when you're in the situation because it's so gradual and subtle you totally don't realize that they are holding the purse strings in the relationship. I did all the grocery shopping when I was in my marriage and I would have to show the receipt to him everytime, a few times I would go grocery shopping and if he got upset with me he would jump on the online banking app and move all the money out of the joint account just to humiliate me when the card would get declined at the checkout. I left him almost 3 years ago and I still adamantly check my balance as I'm checking out at the store, despite the fact I have my own bank account and have my own money now. Anyways glad you're away from that abusive, effed up behavior. No one should be okay with their SO using a $10 burner while spoiling themselves on such a frivolous thing like VR stuff

It keeps you busy looking at things which i really like compared to other crime channels that only speak over pictures of the murderers/victims. Also your medical and law insights are amazing and gives so much more value to the story. Its so much mure entertaining /educational with these insights. Keep up the amazing work. This is by far my favourite crime channel.

Just to comment here, I really like this channel. Compared to other channels, this one isn't click-baity, the information is accurate and researched, and it is informative. Other channels use clickbait, unresearched info (which can be harmful), and can also be completely disrespectful to the victims and/or situations. I don't know what KZread is trying to say, its as if they they value misinformation and videos that are only made for gaining subscribers and views. I just hope everything ends up okay, but the issues this channel is facing is really driving it home for me that KZread truly doesn't care about the content that is being put on and consumed on their platform unless it makes them feel good.

For me, I got more nausea than hallucinations and it wasn't really worth it. Back in my day LSD was cheaper than buying all the OTC stuff and a whole lot more fun! First I would like to say I love your channel and find it admirable that not only is your content well researched and presented but that you cover stories and crimes that aren't well known and would've otherwise received hardly if any attention. With that said I'm a resident of Tracy California. A small close knit community. A city that's within 30-60 miles drive away from bigger cities like SF, San Jose, Sacramento etc etc. When Sandra was reported missing the whole town and other surrounding cities pulled together day and night searching in hopes of bringing her safely back home with her family and loved ones. Tragically a few days after her disappearance a suit case was found in a reservoir/irrigation pond a couple of miles from her home. Needless to say everyone's heart broke for her and her family. My family and I lived down the street from the mobile home park where Sandra lived. My older son attended the same school as she did. I even worked in the hospital where Melissa Huckaby was admitted after her failed suicide attempt. Her tragedy literally hit close to home. In her memory the city of Tracy and the school sandra attended built a memorial playhouse called Sandra's playhouse. A constant reminder of a young, innocent beautiful girl stolen by an evil woman from her loved ones here on earth and saved by God to become a quardian angel in Heaven. Hold and love your children and cherish every moment with them for nothing is promised tomorrow ❤

I heard that the inmates in the prison Nathan is being held dumped a giant pot of boiling butter all over his face, and body. They won’t let him fix his face cause it’s considered cosmetic and not medically necessary. Just thought I’d share that little tidbit with y’all 🤓
