never watched haikyu a friend of mine said it's basically koruko no basket but volleyball and i didn't even try to watch it. Secretly i'm starting to dislike ALL volleyball videos there's a 50% haykyuu squad

@@dark3rthanshadowsit’s actually a pretty decent portrayal of volleyball, not completely realistic (mainly with the setting) but all the tactics and strategies are actually plausible especially the blocking impressed me (partially bc I’m also a short mb), soft vs hard blocking, read vs commit blocking, switch blocking is all stuff that gets mentioned. There’s several chapters talking about using blockers to shut off angles and coordinating with the backline rather than just fishing for stuffs which was also really cool
