Cheers Gregor and Rene. This video really helps. If you get one of these and just go “BALLS OUT” you may be confused and or disappointed. After you plug it in and think you know what you’re doing… check you ego and watch this video closely! Mimic the settings used in the samples! What messed with me most is the output control. Maybe I’m the only moron that sees output, and thinks “turn it up, until you can hear your signal…then add effects? I think if you try the settings used in this video, you’ll understand how to “control” and maybe tame this box of meat, then experiment and find your sound. So crank that sub and crank that low! But make sure to back off the output knob a bit, and you will really ENJOY what boxed meat can do for you!!!

I have the og pedal and really dig the dry out, but also combined with a lesser known dod pedal from the performer series (when dod first started in the late 80s, and before the lamb era) being the 510-A bass enhancer and holy bowel shaking can those pedals together be intense

Oh, they are made again? Nice! It’s a staple on my board since like 5 years or so. Our sound guy “hates” me for this. 😂 But you didn’t talk about the hidden secret this pedal has. With a split cable you can split the signal in dry and wet. So your amp doesn’t suffer and the sound guy has more control of it.

Definitely not. The studio version is all programmed bass. Live he plays it with a fender mustang American performer or PJ configuration. I think they run everything through logic. There’s a Rolling Stones video breakdown of how they produced the track. That said this pedal would definitely rule any kind of cover of that song. And I want one now.

This is a great pedal. I find to use it live it might be too much however you can slip this in when tracking and can get some sick sounds that could really work for a track depending on the style of music. I used it with my bass here. Use headphones or good monitors. Phones and laptops wont pick up the sound. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKSt1raDmdqogcY.html
